Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Castleton

I stayed here with my husband and 2 young children on a visit to Holmfirth to see my best friend. Simon was so helpful and went above and beyond for our stay. He ensured everything was set up for us including an extra bed for the children, fresh bread on the side, and milk in the fridge. Also loved the fresh coffee available. Our kids loved running circles around the the flat and Simon even made a point to say to not worry about the kids running around as his children even loved doing that when they were young. So it was very nice to be in a family friendly place. Even the fresh tulips on the table made us smile. Thank you Simon for a lovely stay!

Grace and Daniel are outstanding hosts. They were extremely accomodating to any needs I had during my stay and are very friendly. It’s very easy to get into the city centre as public transport is right nearby and there’s also plenty of shops within walking distance. I would absolutely stay here again if in Manchester!

The stay at the loft was beautiful, it felt very cosy and homey there. Check in was easy and Nick was great at responding!

this is our second year staying in Michael's apartment, it was just as good as it was the first year. On check in day we had a problem that the building lifts weren't working, I asked Michael about this problem to which he immediately contacted the building maintenance and they had it fixed the very next day, Michael is an extremely friendly and helpful host and I can highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in his apartment. 10/10 we'll be back again next year!

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

Lovely little place to stay. I'm glad Emma helped with the directions as Google maps found it difficult, but I got there eventually. There are quite a few steep steps down from the parking area to consider but I'm sure Emma will take that into consideration for others who might struggle there. Communication was top notch and extra info.given for the number of a local taxi service. Lovely room with separate ensuite bathroom. Very peaceful setting. Lovely to hear only the birds in the morning. Only a half mile walk into town with all its amenities.

We were visiting Buxton for 2 shows at the Opera House & the apartment is perfectly placed for this, being just a few minutes walk away, also the Pavilion Gardens and loads of places to eat & drink. Apartment is beautifully furnished and very well-equipped with pretty, sunny little cottage-style garden to front. The main bedroom is lovely, really comfortable bed. Our friend stayed in the basement bedroom and did comment that it was cold BUT he was very warm and comfortable once in bed. Wish we had stayed longer, if only to take advantage of the huge selection of dvds and books 😊. Thankyou, Heather, Kim and Lorna for a really great (too short) stay.

We stayed overnight at Diana's and it was perfect. The photos don't do it justice; it was much better and the living area, bedroom and bathroom were all huge! A great place to stay.

The property is beautiful and exquisite in design. Large TV’s in every room and all mod-cons. There is plenty of space for 4 adults to move around. There are also plenty of little extras in the kitchen like condiments and spices, tea, coffee etc. There is a large gas BBQ that we used and a fire pit in the centre of a large table. Fortunately one of us thought to bring wood as there wasn’t any provided and it’s such a lovely feature to have a blazing fire late at night whilst drinking & having good conversation. Maybe it’s an idea for the host Ash to either provide wood or to make note on the booking that guests are to provide their own. The pub next door is also really nice. I honestly didn’t want to leave and would say that a one night stay is not enough. My only negative would be that as check-in is not until 4pm & check-out is 10am that when you consider maybe 7 hours sleep you’re not actaully getting much time to enjoy the place especially if like us you go out for a few hours.

We had a lovely, long weekend stay at Chert cottage. Great Longstone is an excellent location, with several pubs within walking distance. Beautiful scenery is on the doorstep, with places like Bakewell and Buxton a short drive away. Sarah was an excellent host - she was very responsive and we really appreciated the cake, milk and flowers on arrival. Chert cottage itself was great - very clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need - we particularly loved sitting out in the garden in the evening! Many thanks Sarah, we had a great time.

Callow Barn. What a beautiful place in beautiful surrounding. Loads to see and do. Great walks. Great pubs. And a fantastic lido, but advisable to book a couple of days before you go to avoid disappointment

Lucy’s cottage is stunning! Even more beautiful than the pictures! We had a really lovely time - Youlgreave is a wonderful village with 3 pubs, cafe’s and a little shop, plus being close to other attractions in the Peak District! Fabulous host, brilliant location, beautiful cottage!

Myself, my partner and our dog had a wonderful few days at Bridgefoot cottage, the photos don't do it justice is is bigger than it looks and so cosy. the garden is such a gem our dog loved it, fully enclosed and the hot tub was perfect after a long walk in the morning. Cottage itself was pristine, full of character and had everything we needed so we didn't need to contact the host for anything additional but I'm sure he would have been quick to help if we needed it. We cooked most nights but did order from the Indian (menu in the welcome book) which was a lovely change, we also walked into Calver and had some cake from the cafe there next to the Spar shop which was delicious. Great location with lots of beautiful walks nearby, one starting over the bridge and another if you turn left out of the cottage and continue down the lane you will pass through sheep fields and find yourself at Froggat woods. It truly felt like a home away from home and we would love to return in the future

Really lovely place with comfortable beds and a lovely garden. I would highly recommend it. It’s very private and quiet with the garden backing up to a field. We really enjoyed our two nights there with friends.

Beautiful setting, cottage was spacious, comfortable and spotless! Kids loved the animals (especially the chickens and their eggs!) and it was so easy to do walks from the house. Highly recommend!

Amazing place to stay! Me and friends felt extremely safe. It was close to everything we needed. Extremely clean and the beds were very comfy! Nothing bad to say at all! Would 100% recommend to friends and family and we will definitely be staying again!

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

Myself, my husband, our baby and mother in law all stayed here for a long weekend for a wedding in Kelham island. Khateeb was incredibly responsive, accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The weather was particularly hot during our stay, which was a bit of a concern with our baby, and he dropped off a fan to help us cool the apartment down (which was massively appreciated). The flat was very clean and tidy and the sofa bed was set up ready for our arrival. The location was excellent, we recommend The Grind Cafe just across the bar. There was ample parking a short walk away and even though the apartment is in the heart of Kelham island, it wasn’t too noisy throughout the night. Would highly recommend!

Warren was an absolutely incredible host, excellent communication throughout the entire process and provided us with clear instructions and recommendations for both parking and local food locations. The place is beautiful, looks just like the photos, one of the beds is slightly smaller than expected but definitely suitable for a smaller person. We stayed as a group for one night and found it easy to access and utilise all the facilities. The space was clean and felt safe. Warren was flexible to us checking in later and was responsive throughout. Overall, I would massively recommend! We loved our stay!
