“Stayed for a week and had a blast. Great cabin in a great location - convenient access to both the amenities of Huonville to the north and the fun activities beyond Geeveston to the south (Tahune, Hartz Peak, etc). Slightly back from the highway means no traffic noise. Deidre was a wonderful host. Our daughters (8 and 6) loved being able to feed the horse, sheep and chickens every morning. Bonus getting fresh eggs from the chickens each day too. Cabin has all the things you need (well equipped kitchen, etc). Would happily stay there again.”
Private, self contained cabin in the Huon Valley with convenient access to Cygnet (5 min), Bruny Island & Hobart (45 min), Hartz Mountain National Park & World Heritage Area (1 hr). Bush surrounds, stunning views of the Huon River & Hartz mountains. Beaches, bushwalking, markets, relax by the fire or on the deck & admire the view. Fat Pig Farm is a few mins drive or 50 min walk, Cygnet market 1st & 3rd Sunday of the mth, Willie Smith's Artisan & Farmers Market every Saturday, 10-1.
“The cabin was absolutely amazing and just what we needed after a visit to the Fat Pig Farm. It was spotless and had the most amazing views! We even got to watch an echidna walk straight past the window. Jane was so helpful and was so quick to respond to all of my questions. Perfect cabin in the perfect location with the perfect hosts!”
Our Tiny Home is located in Huonville - the gateway to the Huon Valley and is a short walk from local shops and restaurants. The home is cosy warm in the winter and air-conditioned in the summer months. The Hut is set back well off the road within an old garden and has it's own carport.
“What a stylish, functional and comfortable space - nothing like the original shepherds huts of long ago! The hut is at the rear of the property so no noise from the main road and just a short stroll to the shopping strip. Shower space is roomy, cleanliness unfaulted, good wifi connection and nice touches made this a place I recommend and would definitely return to.”
