Casa da Figueira has two terraces, one just off the living room with a spectacular view of the Valley into Spain and on a clear day one can see the Serra da Estrela. The large swimming pool with sunbathing area is shared with Casa das Rosas (1 bdrm). It is located within Quinta da Saimeira, a 12ha estate between Castelo de Vide and Marvao, home to a large variety of birds, fruit trees, an olive grove, pittoresque granite boulders, and direct access to the medieval path connecting the two towns.
