House holiday rentals in Castelfranco Emilia

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

We had the best time! The pool was fabulous. And the pasta night was so much fun!

The apartment is small but very pleasant and comfortable because the space has been used perfectly with mainly wooden furniture. The kitchen is very well equipped and the pots are new and abundant, which is rare in accommodations! The courtyard in front of the front door is not great, while the balcony of the room enjoys a nice open view of the mountains. Roberto is very helpful. We just had to clarify a small issue regarding the cost of cleaning that wasn't listed, but it was resolved quickly. I highly recommend thisplace.

This house was amazing, we brought our 3 dogs along and had the best time. An extremely private garden and pool with lots of games. She provided all bbq equipment, portable speaker, TVs loads of towels everything you’d need. Dorella was a fantastic host and it’s a really lovely comfortable home. The pool is the big selling point and it didn’t disappoint

A lovely spacious house, elegantly and stylishly furnished (AB&B photos don't really do it justice). Beautiful tranquil location - apart from the Apennine wolves we heard howling one night (a definite bonus in our book). Lovely walks from the house along the river Dolo gorge, and especially recommend the Golfarone waterfall about 25 mins drive away. A 15-minute scramble upriver brings you to a beautiful pool for swimming under the waterfall. Also lovely local neighbours, who offered us homemade wine and jam. Good local restaurants. Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly.

Silvana and her Husband were GREAT Hosts!! The place was immaculate and Super Peaceful!!! Best arrangements and accommodations Close to Bologna!! We spent 5 days, Played Tennis and had a Mega BBQ!! Enjoyed the place immensely, Silvana was a SUPER Host!!! Will surely comeback!!!!

The property is breathtaking, with stunning views that make it a perfect retreat. A car is essential for getting around. Our host, Lara, embodied the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality. Despite pouring rain on our arrival, she greeted us warmly and explained everything thoroughly. She texted us recommendations for the best local restaurants and checked in regularly—not intrusively, but with genuine care and passion for her guests’ comfort. Lara went above and beyond, preparing the BBQ for us, offering fresh fruit as a thoughtful treat, and providing delicious pastries for breakfast on our departure day. I would absolutely stay here again!

Magnificent historic place, magnificent host: Caterina was always attentive to us, communication was very fast and she is wonderful, without being overwhelming, but always ready to help us. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to be in an authentic place, in direct contact with nature and with the best possible host. We will definitely be back. A big hug to Caterina

The stay was wonderful. The house is clean and cozy. The house is located with a stunning view. Paolo, the owner, was very friendly. From the first moment he was always available for any question. And we received lots of recommendations for trips in the area. Highly recommend coming to this property.

We had a really pleasant stay in this cozy apartment with attention to the smallest details. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the fireplace perfectly functional, with wood provided free of charge by the host. The apartment is immersed in the tranquility of the Modena Apennines, an ideal place for those looking to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle. Nearby are several hiking trails, perfect for exploring the surrounding nature. Sergio and his wife were exceptional hosts: kind, helpful and never intrusive. Highly recommended for a rejuvenating break!

Beautiful place surrounded by nature. Huge and very clean house with well-kept outdoor spaces and comfortable interiors, nothing was missing. Host Gianna is fantastic, she did more than her duty. Due to a very complicated move I stayed alone at the property, unfortunately going back and forth to and from Bologna Working with animals and the garden, beautiful and fully fenced, it really made a difference The house is enchanting as well as the view that frames it, priceless to wake up to the view of our Apennines. So much silence to feel - especially at night - almost intimidated :-) Beautiful disconnect during which, at times, I was also able to regenerate I had some small difficulties with the TV in the room compared to the channel synchronization, while everything was fine with the one in the room Cleanliness and services offered completely in line with expectations Overall, I would absolutely recommend a stay at this charming structure if you really want to unplug and carve out a space and a moment of just relaxation and rest! We booked at very short notice and Romina made it possible! She welcomed us very warmly and explained everything really well, even a bottle of wine was cold for us. She is very friendly and her tips were great! We would never have tried the food truck and it was soooo delicious! She was always available and asked how we were doing. The furnishings are lovingly selected, everything fits together. From the glasses to the large mural in the bedroom, everything is very harmonious We would book with Romina again at any time.

Antonio was a great host. He was prompt answering any questions we had. The apartment is very clean, quiet, and minimal. A great location for wandering Modena and many great shops and restaurants in the area.

If i could give 20 stars, it would not be enough to state what this Torre Riva is all about! Peaceful, private, quiet, ancient, historic! Perhaps the most remarkable place we've stayed! The village below is quiet, the townspeople are friendly. The entire area is a picture. You will feel history. Mario is an absolute genius with how to send the baggage up. The renovations that he continued with, the woodwork! The way up, is only the best part...get in shape. The village is worth the walk within all the alleys. A picture at every step. After needing a last minute place due to a previous hosts last minute cancellation, we were so glad we found this beautiful accommodation. It was such a refreshing change to have a Airbnb that felt like it was someone’s home that was loved. The host was super friendly and helped us with check in/check out, and had any questions we had answered about the surrounding area. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay at Alberto’s place. The country location perfectly met our needs. It is easy to catch a train from Reggio-Emilia to visit Bologna. Modena is also just a day trip. Alberto recommended a tour of a parmigiano reggiano dairy farm and production center which was so fun and interesting, and only a fifteen minute drive from the house. The sparkling clean house is spacious with very modern bathrooms, large comfortable bedrooms, and a well equipped kitchen. During the hot weather, we were pleased that the house felt cool. Fans in each bedroom let us sleep comfortably. Alberto told us that he is having air conditioning installed in the next few weeks. A gift of lettuce and berries from the garden was much appreciated. We enjoyed taking sunset neighborhood walks each evening of our stay. We very much recommend a stay at Alberto’s farmhouse.
