Monthly Rentals in Cascade River

Kim and John’s cabin is cozy and private. After my first night there, I was in love with it! The weather was a bit chilly, but a fire in the wood stove made the cabin toasty warm, and in the mornings it was still quite comfortable indoors. Mornings were perfectly quiet, save for the many birds chirping all around me. My Merlin app is full of bird recordings now. While I was not thrilled about using an outhouse, I have to say it’s the cleanest little outhouse ever, well worth the short tramp through the woods. I would gladly have stayed longer, and hope to be able to stay in the cabin again someday.

I have never felt more welcomed with my dog! The treats and squeaky toys were such a nice surprise. We loved spending time in the sauna, having nerf gun battles, nightly fires, and relaxing on the upper balcony and porch swing. The amenities were top notch and the kitchen had everything we needed and more to cook meals. The trip into Grand Marais was really convenient and quick! We got massages at LutZen and checked out the little shops. We also loved exploring Artist’s Point. I had one question, and they responded SO quickly. Such caring and attentive hosts! We hope to return in the future :)

Great place to stay/relax. Close to Grand Marias, and easy to find. It’s very quiet at night, the sauna is perfect for getting a sweat. The cabin is as described, and everything is easy to figure out when you arrive.

Fun to stay in A frame. Sauna was the icing on the cake. Loved to hear the babbling river below, a bit steep to get down to play in but we did check it out.
