Apartment holiday rentals in Carrabassett Valley

I stayed there for two weeks and I would stay again. It was very quiet which is my number one need. Two it was clean. Three nice kitchen with all the appliances you need. Four Jeanmarie answered all questions quickly and clearly. Five lots of room in the house. Six it was nice and warm in the winter weather.

You know when folks really care about their place and the experience of their guests! This is one of those places. Ann set everything up to meet all needs, including (for my husband) milk in the fridge to go with his coffee! The place is super clean, including the many beautiful windows to see the fall colors outside. We enjoyed being upstairs for that view. Lots of flowers all around the well-maintained home. Lovely! The stairs are steep going up and as Ann described, the tub is a step up/in, so make sure everyone is able. We asked for an extra hour on our reservation, which was quickly granted. Ann is super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this place, especially if you have a kid at Colby College who lives in the downtown apartments; it's the perfect location between campus and downtown!

We used this as our jumping off location for the Last Skier Standing event at BMOM. Good location, convenient to mountain (great for our sleep deprived crew). It snowed a lot so there was a parking ban in place, which was a bit challenging as we had 4 cars to park the first night and only 2 spots, but Bonni was great and helped us with additional parking up the road. Very communicative and a great host. Thanks for everything!

Loved staying here, great spot off mountain to relax between skiing sessions. Central to Kingfield and Sugarloaf. Would be a great place to stay in the summer as well, entrance to bike trails close by!!

Great place for a last minute ski trip at Sunday River. Everything was exactly as described. Space seemed recently renovated and has a great kitchen!

We were so grateful to stay at Ambers place. We had brief visit to view the eclipse and coming back to this spotless, extremely comfortable, and peaceful spot was so nice after a full day out in the elements. The kitchen had everything we could need and the space really felt welcoming. My husband commented on how comfortable the couch was no fewer than three times. Amber was so accommodating and helpful, we really couldn’t have asked for a better home for the night.

It's easy to relax at Gary and Irma's place. Very comfortable couch and beds. Nice personal touches like a welcome note, chocolates and wine. The place was very clean. Peaceful surroundings including a pond. I hope to come back to stay again.

This place was more spacious than the photos made it look, had a well-appointed kitchen, cozy propane fireplace, and very comfortable beds. It's a 5 minute drive from the slopes -- I recommend it for anyone looking to spend a few days skiing Sunday River.

Visited sugarloaf during the day, easy drive back to Roses place! Clean, comfy beds. Open concept downstairs was perfect for hanging out

We had a great trip at Sonja’s Airbnb for a ski weekend at Sunday River! The Airbnb is in an easy location close to the mountain and was a clean, comfortable place for the weekend.

The pictures don’t do it justice! Huge high ceiling rooms, 2 large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and sofa/tv areas and a cute kitchen that has everything you need!

Great spot for a last minute get away

A two-family ski vacation for a long weekend made this stay incredibly worthwhile. Perfect location with access to trails and lifts, and a super fun window seat for trail side viewing. We won’t have pets, but I could tell it would be an ideal spot for them too.

Great stay. Just as advertised. Kids loved the bunk beds and being able to ski to the lift right out the back door. Added bonus that the pool was in the same building. Overall just what we expected.

We had a great stay here for a few days of skiing in March. We especially loved that we could walk quickly across a parking lot to the Snubber lift to get right on the slopes -- and it was easy to come back for lunch breaks on the colder days. The condo was clean, the bathroom was updated, and the kitchen was small but equipped for simple meals. There was plenty of room for four adults (and one small dog!) to comfortably hang in the living room after skiing. Note that there are lots of steps up to the condo -- we didn't mind, but prepare accordingly.

We arrived just after the end of active ski season, when lifts from condo area were closed (and there was no snow in the condo area) but slopes and on-slope ski lifts were still working with plenty of on-mountain skiing. As long as you have a car, this isn't an issue. You leave your skies either in the convenient closet right at the condo parking (or in your car), the drive to the base of the slopes is quite short, and parking at the base of the slopes is ample and easy. Plus, the condo was just great all around. So enjoy spring skiing at Kate's condo! For pilots: We flew our Cirrus SR 20 into Sugerloaf Regional Airport. There is no FBO there, but the airport manager is friendly, there are tie down spots (bring own ropes), and fuel is reasonable (100LL only). Greg Roy provides taxi service in the area, and if you ask nicely, he may rent you his car (as he did for us!). Greg's number can be found in Foreflight comments.

Perfect place for our family of 6 (if they added a twin mattress to trundle it would be even more perfect!). Great location, very clean, easy check-in, all the amenities you need. Will be the first place we look to rent when coming back to Sugarloaf.

We had a terrific stay at Lani's. The location was excellent, about 1/2 from Mountain Grocers and a mile from The Rack. We were on the shuttle route, a perk, even though we drove to the mountain daily. The condo itself is genuinely better than the pictures indicate. The beds, comforters, couches, etc were lovely and comfortable. We loved the hot tub. We didn't read the fine print that it is shared with the attached house rental, but it wasn't an issue. We alternated use easily. A hot tub is so nice after a long day of skiing! Lani was wonderfully communicative from booking to departure. We would definitely rent her apartment or house again in the future.

Beautiful spot only 8 minutes away from the Sunday River resort. Walkable to the local restaurants if you like, or a 2 minute drive to any of them otherwise (check out Sud’s Bar). Place was spotless, easy check in / check out, lots of parking, cute fireplace, and I’m a sucker for a hot tub, which was massive (bring flip flops, since it’s in the gravel part of the backyard). Overall, fantastic experience. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a weekend spot with easy access to Sunday River. Thanks, Mark!
