Apartment holiday rentals in Carrabassett Valley

This was our first stay in an Airbnb and it exceeded our expectations! The apartment was exactly as described and included everything necessary to make it the perfect “home away from home”! It is in a great location with restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store and Wilson Lake all within walking distance. Debi was a great host. She kept in contact with us before and during our stay, and quickly responded to all questions. We will definitely stay here again!

I am not sure I've ever had a host who was more considerate than Ann. Her place feels like a real home, not a rental. The artwork is thoughtful and interesting. Not just artwork to fill the walls, but artwork that you actually enjoy looking at. I am not a big fan of typical Airbnb kitchens. They are usually stocked with the minimum. Cheap pans and cheap knive sets. Not this one. Everything was as you would have them in a real house. My two favorite shows of consideration were little mason jars of whole milk and half and half in the fridge. And a beautiful plant by the doorway as you walked in. I will definitely come back.

We were so grateful to stay at Ambers place. We had brief visit to view the eclipse and coming back to this spotless, extremely comfortable, and peaceful spot was so nice after a full day out in the elements. The kitchen had everything we could need and the space really felt welcoming. My husband commented on how comfortable the couch was no fewer than three times. Amber was so accommodating and helpful, we really couldn’t have asked for a better home for the night.

It was just what we needed. It was so relaxing. It was Homie quaint it was nicely dated very convenient full kitchen drawing room or sitting room. The lake is literally maybe 45 steps away which brings you three docs and any color kayak you want lifejackets you know safety first and great bass fishing. It was beautiful. I enjoyed the R&R honestly it was for anniversary/Mother’s Day so it was very peaceful. The bed is so comfortable. It was just a wonderful time. Beautiful couch very comfortable. You can fit too. You wanna lay down and watch a movie. Plenty of places to eat little stores to run to. It was really nice. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful, cozy, beautiful apartment right in the downtown area of Hallowell. Great location in a charming little city. Highly recommend!

This is cute apartment just a block or two from lots of cafés and restaurants. It's in a building that's big renovated/ turned into an inn, and it looks like it will be really cool when it's done! The apartment was clean and comfy and we'd stay there again for sure.

We absolutely loved our stay! The condo was clean, comfortable, and had absolutely everything we needed. It was such a treat to be so close to Tufulios and Sugarloaf. Five stars all around - we can't wait to return.

The apartment was spacious, clean, and well stocked with the essentials. We stayed for the weekend for a wedding nearby. Easy to find, great space, helpful host! Don’t let the outside of the building fool you, it’s an older farmhouse but great inside. Will stay again.

Excellent last minute find for our family doing a late season ski trip to Mt. Abram. Clean, comfy beds, nicely laid out, lots of attention to detail for the needs of the guests. The only suggestions I would make are small, and likely they are coming as I believe the unit is new. Area rugs, particularly in the main space, would make the space feel much more homey. A sink in the kitchenette would be helpful (we noticed a hookup for this, so perhaps it's on it's way). Maybe one more seat in the living room so than two people could comfortably sit in there? Otherwise it was great, and we'd stay there again, with or without these changes!

My friends and I greatly enjoyed our stay here! The host was very friendly and responsive, we had everything we needed and more left in the house for us. We even got to enjoy some tea each night from the kitchen. Our host was very intentional in setting up the house, we truly couldn’t ask for a better stay. We would definitely return for another trip :)

I stayed there for two weeks and I would stay again. It was very quiet which is my number one need. Two it was clean. Three nice kitchen with all the appliances you need. Four Jeanmarie answered all questions quickly and clearly. Five lots of room in the house. Six it was nice and warm in the winter weather.

Easy-to-find location, beautifully designed apartment, squeaky clean kitchen, and a VERY comfortable bed. It is an older and creakier building, so you can hear the people above and around you, but it didn’t impact sleep. Heather was also accommodating to a last-minute late checkout, which was really appreciated. Highly, highly recommend.

This apt was perfect for our two day trip to ski Saddleback! We are a family of 2 adults and one 9 year old. We like to cook our own meals and get a good night's sleep and this was a great spot to do both. Convenient, clean and good communication. We'd love to return when we return to the Rangeley area!

As fellow AirBnb hosts, my friend and I were so impressed with the amenities, cleanliness, and attention to detail in this space. It was quiet and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more! There were snacks, plenty of condiments, extra cooking appliances and tools, and toiletries just in case. We received an upscale experience at a budget-friendly rental and plan to return soon! What a beautiful space to stay while I celebrated my daughter’s graduation! The apartment was bright and cheery, completely updated and well stocked. I slept so well on the cozy bed with the softest linens. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to visit Waterville.

A two-family ski vacation for a long weekend made this stay incredibly worthwhile. Perfect location with access to trails and lifts, and a super fun window seat for trail side viewing. We won’t have pets, but I could tell it would be an ideal spot for them too.

We had a great stay here for a few days of skiing in March. We especially loved that we could walk quickly across a parking lot to the Snubber lift to get right on the slopes -- and it was easy to come back for lunch breaks on the colder days. The condo was clean, the bathroom was updated, and the kitchen was small but equipped for simple meals. There was plenty of room for four adults (and one small dog!) to comfortably hang in the living room after skiing. Note that there are lots of steps up to the condo -- we didn't mind, but prepare accordingly.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. Quick access to the snubber lift, and the building was perfect for our needs.

We arrived just after the end of active ski season, when lifts from condo area were closed (and there was no snow in the condo area) but slopes and on-slope ski lifts were still working with plenty of on-mountain skiing. As long as you have a car, this isn't an issue. You leave your skies either in the convenient closet right at the condo parking (or in your car), the drive to the base of the slopes is quite short, and parking at the base of the slopes is ample and easy. Plus, the condo was just great all around. So enjoy spring skiing at Kate's condo! For pilots: We flew our Cirrus SR 20 into Sugerloaf Regional Airport. There is no FBO there, but the airport manager is friendly, there are tie down spots (bring own ropes), and fuel is reasonable (100LL only). Greg Roy provides taxi service in the area, and if you ask nicely, he may rent you his car (as he did for us!). Greg's number can be found in Foreflight comments.

We had a terrific stay at Lani's. The location was excellent, about 1/2 from Mountain Grocers and a mile from The Rack. We were on the shuttle route, a perk, even though we drove to the mountain daily. The condo itself is genuinely better than the pictures indicate. The beds, comforters, couches, etc were lovely and comfortable. We loved the hot tub. We didn't read the fine print that it is shared with the attached house rental, but it wasn't an issue. We alternated use easily. A hot tub is so nice after a long day of skiing! Lani was wonderfully communicative from booking to departure. We would definitely rent her apartment or house again in the future.
