Condo holiday rentals in Carmel-by-the-Sea

This is a beautiful place, right on the ocean, with beautiful views. So well equipped with everything you need. The gift food basket with local products and well stocked pantry was very welcoming. So many products in the bathroom and even extra towels and linens if you need them. Also was stocked with laundry supplies. Szuszi, the host was very responsive and proactive. Like many places right on the ocean, it did have a musty smell. This was fine for us, but may not be for those that are sensitive. We loved being able to walk along the beach and also around the nature preserves. It was a short drive into town and we enjoyed the recommendations left by the host for where to get groceries, get food, and local sites. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our second time staying in the mermaid’s perch. We love it so much I hope we will be able to stay again! The place had everything we needed, so comfortable and welcoming and amazing view of the beach.

Accommodations and location and the view we had was great. There were just a little conflicting issues between the amenities and instructions of the house rules and the Bailey instructions but nothing of major concern and were worked out.

Great place in a great location in Carmel. Up to date, good kitchen, comfy beds, excellent water.

Loved our stay! The view was beautiful, could hear the ocean waves, close to the pool/spa and hotel shuttle to the beach was fabulous. The room was clean and had everything we needed for us and our 2 kids. Greg’s communication was great. Will definitely book again!

My husband and I stayed here for our one year wedding anniversary and it was such a beautiful place to stay! Supper cozy and romantic! Even better in person than the pictures! All of the large windows overlooking the ocean was so awesome! And you can go to sleep listening to the ocean waves! This place is literally right on the beach! Like steps away which was awesome! And only like 15 min drive from Santa Cruz! The check in & check out process was super easy which was great! We did have a problem with ants wanting to attack the kitchen but other than that we have no complaints! Thank you!

What a lovely beach condominium! The view is spectacular....we could have just sat in front of the massive glass sliders and watched the view! The House Rules were clear and 100% manageable. The kitchen is sleek and well equipped! Walking to the beach was not difficult...just a small downhill to get there. Perfect weather!!!! (And I am in love with the fireplace!) My family and I loved it and we hope to come back soon! Thank you , Sundeep, for trusting us with your home!

Stayed with my husband and parents here for our wedding week that was happening in the area. The place was plenty spacious for 4 people! Much better than a hotel room would’ve been. Gave us quality time cooking in the kitchen and hanging out in the living room, enjoying the hottub & heated pool and the beach! The ocean view from the dining table and the front porch is STUNNING!! The place is nice, well kept, and has everything you need! Any small things that popped up, Patti was helpful and fixed right away! Would definitely stay here again!!

This was an ideal place for me as it was a close, scenic drive to where I was participating in a 3 day dog sports event. The home was quiet, clean, inviting, had all the amenities and a very comfortable bed. I loved having the private outside patio. I especially enjoyed being welcomed by Gary and Irene who were a most delightful couple and gracious hosts.

The stay at Julia's was really good. The bedroom and bathroom are really nice. Furthermore you have a nice view from the balcony. Julia gave a lot of nice recommendations for the surroundings and even for the rest of my trip. Overall it was amazing

You can really tell they care about their guests and take pride in providing a great experience. Kristina’s place was absolutely beautiful and exactly as pictured. Breath taking ocean views and a short 5 minutes down to the beach. Kristina was very friendly checking in with us to make sure our trip was going good and if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again !!! Great host great place and beautiful city !!

We had a wonderful short getaway at Sue’s place! The condo is just steps from the beach, pool, and jacuzzi. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was relaxing, and the ocean breeze was very refreshing. It was exactly what we needed to reset and recharge. Everything was just as described, and we would stay here again! Thank you, Sue!

We enjoyed our stay at David's condo. It had a lovely view of the ocean, and was very clean and well appointed. There was plenty of information about amenities, and things to do. David is a great communicator & host. This is a ground level condo in the main building, so we heard workers using gas powered trimmers and power washing the building beginning at 9:00am in the morning. Luckily, David provides earplugs in the condo, which came in handy.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The beachside location was unbeatable, and the family-friendly heated pool and hot tub were a big hit with everyone. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, and we’d love to come back again. Highly recommend!
