45 Cecil Street is a welcoming home located in the heart of the great Border City Carlisle. Located just 5 minutes walk away from the train station it provides a great base for anyone visiting the city or the surrounding area. Our home has a ground floor courtyard and kitchen and on the first floor you will find the living room, 2 bedrooms and the bathroom. The whole house is available to our guests during their stay and while we cant provide private parking there are 2 car parks just nearby.

Stunning views of Ullswater... Very special... Perfect... Well equipped... Spotless and clean... Fantastic host... No picture of our panoramic view can really do justice to The Garden Flat. But we hope those words from our most recent reviews do. The flat is in an elevated 19th century former hunting lodge. The Ullswater Way walking route is at the end of the drive. Down the hill is the Brackenrigg Inn, with its own microbrewery, and Another Place, with lake swimming and spa facilities.

Within walking distance of the city centre, castle, cathedral, beautiful parklands and an abundance of bars and restaurants. 10 minutes from the train station and even closer to the bus station. Located in a quiet residential building. A lift serves the building and parking is available for one med. vehicle. No large vans please.

Lake District flat with great mountain views

Bright and cheerful ensuite studio flat on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Great views of Helvellyn and High Street. Lake District hikes, cycling or sightseeing within a few minutes. There is a small well equipped kitchen with hob, fridge and microwave for preparing light meals. The local pub is a 10 minute walk and serves excellent food with other good food pubs just down the road. Guests are welcome to share use of our BBQ corner with fabulous view of the mountains.

Free on street parking between 6pm and 8am with limited street parking outwith those hours. Cecil Street pay & display car park is a few minutes walk away.
