Monthly Rentals in Caribou Lake

This is a great little cabin located in a very private area. It was winter, so we weren't able to enjoy the net hammock but we wanted to :-) The circular staircase to the lower level (where the second bedroom and third bed are) is very tight. Our suitcases were small enough to get down there, but we would have struggled if they were bigger. I also missed the fact there wasn't a dishwasher. Luckily my sons were put to work.

Jenny’s place is amazing. The setting is picture-perfect, peaceful, and less than 10 minutes from Grand Marais. Jenny is also one of the friendliest and most helpful hosts I’ve ever worked with. She made our entire group feel welcome and at home right away. The house itself - and the separate cabin - are all beautifully decorated and designed in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright. Everything is labeled and easy to find, and the hosts provide a bevy of amenities and supplies. It’s wonderful that they allow pets. Also, incredibly, the space is kept immaculately clean even with pers allowed. This home is frankly cleaner than many non-pet Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. This is the perfect spot for a small group to get away on the north shore and to enjoy Grand Marais and the surrounding area.

The space was thoughtfully laid out and homey, with creative decor. Melanie was a great communicator. And it was magical that she texted on the day of arrival to let us know the place was ready early, which was much appreciated! Things we enjoyed: -great Bluetooth speaker -well-appointed kitchen -clean & well taken care of -extra supplies left in the closet -huge bathtub -incredible views of Lake Superior while lying in bed and sitting in the living room!

Would highly recommend! Comfortably fit our large group. Loved cozying up next to the fire after long days of skiing!
