Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cariboo

Really loved Diana and Volker’s cabin at Ruth Lake. They welcomed our doggos and we had a fabulous peaceful and beautiful time. Highly recommend staying here!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cabin, and I can confidently say it exceeded all of my expectations! THANK YOU! From the moment we arrived, the cozy atmosphere and stunning surroundings made it feel like the perfect escape. The cabin was spotless, well-equipped, and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel like home. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the living room spacious and fully equipped with all sorts of entertainment. We were lucky enough to experience fresh snow during our stay, which made the whole experience even more magical! The outdoor space was incredible as well. One of the highlights was gathering around the campfire in the evening, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the beautiful winter sky. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for an unforgettable stay. The pictures don’t do it justice. This should definitely be kept a secret because we can’t wait to return!

We arrived at the property after a long day of driving and received friendly greetings from one of the hosts, as well as from the farm dogs 😊 The cottage and surrounding property were very peaceful. It was lovely to be able to walk down to the pond and watch the ducks. Horses and cows were also within view and a family of 4 deer made a couple of appearances too! I felt rested and rejuvenated after our stay. I wish we had been able to stay for more than one night. I'd definitely book this accommodation again if I'm ever in the area.

We truly enjoyed staying at the cabin at Amber's place. It was absolutely perfect, there were some beautiful touches to the cabin that we truly appreciated. The view was amazing. Amber & Kelly were great hosts, super responsive. The lamb chops were very yummy and enjoyed all the cuddles from all the animals!!!

Had a great time getting away for the weekend, great location and all the pets made us feel like we were still at home, very great hosts and would love to go again!

Loved this spot! Gorgeous scenery, clean and homey accommodation and overall lovely vibe. We will definitely be back.

Our stay was wonderful & Rhonda was super friendly, kind & helpful! When the hot water tank broke & didn’t work she had it fixed within a couple hours! The beds were very comfortable! Very peaceful relaxing setting! Her kitchen was well stocked with more than enough dishes & cutlery & we loved having the outside Bar-B-Q! Rhonda left us breakfasts & snacks too which was totally unexpected! Very sweet of her! Living room had a big screen TV, lots of channel choices & with plenty of seating for everyone! Very nice place to relax! The dining table had plenty of room for family games too! We went in a cooler month (April) so I was happy we had brought some extra blankets as nights cooled down! I’m sure Rhonda would have provided some if we had asked as she checked if we needed anything & said just ask! Only things different from the AD pics: no washer/dryer (we didn’t need it) the hot tub was not right outside like I thought-it is at her home across driveway & there’s no sauna

Beautiful overnight stay. We loved how rustic and peaceful everything was. The wood stove was awesome. The hike behind the cabin was great- found tons of wild onions. We had such a nice night. Thank you so much!

I recently visited a charming lake resort with my boys, and it was an unforgettable experience. Nestled by a pristine lake, the resort was family-friendly, cozy, and authentic—not at all commercial. The natural surroundings were stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for our activities. My kids absolutely loved kayaking on the calm waters and ending the day with bonfires and spooky stories under the stars. The cottages, crafted from beautiful logs, were well-maintained and added to the rustic charm. It was the ideal spot for a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway.
