Beachfront holiday rental in Cariboo

Our adult children stayed in Don’s cabin. It was very clean cabin. The animal and lake decor added to the cabins rustic appeal. Don was quick to reply to any questions and was very helpful with the booking. It had two decks on different levels.

This cabin is a little slice of heaven! What can be better than opening your eyes to the lake!? A quiet, relaxing retreat alone or with others. Can't wait to stay again next summer.

If you are looking for cosy fires in big chairs, morning coffee on the dock, long sleeps in a king bed, and piping hot showers….look no further! This cabin is very private, very quiet, and very welcoming, you will not be disappointed. The nearby towns and restaurants are great, and the nature is stunning. Huge thanks to Carl for an excellent stay!

Everything was as advertised. Very nice place with all the comforts of home in a beautiful lakefront setting. Kal was quick and helpful all along.

Our stay was absolutely amazing!! The cabin had everything you would need for your stay. The cabin is gorgeous and the large grass area was perfect for the kids. Tracey was very responsive when booking and during our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in the homey, comfortable suite. Loved being on the lake with access to a walking trail. Very peaceful and quiet. Bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the little details like the kitchen filled with breakfast supplies. Would love to return

I booked this cabin to celebrate my boyfriends 25th birthday. So, I asked him to write a review since we enjoyed it so much: "Being greeted by all the farm animals was a wonderful sight when arriving, all the animals living amongst eachother thriving is something we don’t see at home. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, something I’d picture on a postcard, it felt so cozy and I was amazed at all the wood work and craftsmanship that went into building the cabin- I was even more amazed when finding out all the wood was from the property. The wood stove was one of my favourite touches, being able to enjoy the warmth from the fire, whilst also being inside tucked away made me not want to go back home again. The dock had amazing views and fishing opportunities. We used the canoe to go fishing for the first time! We also loved being able to observe the working dogs in action." We enjoyed our stay so much and we appreciated all the work that goes into the property. We're excited to come back

Beautiful location right on the water, with an amazing fire pit and seating area. Perfect location to enjoy the outdoors. The interior was well played out with plenty of room for 3 people sleeping in separate rooms. The bedding was comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend Hoots Place to anyone looking to experience nature and friendly hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay in the cozy lakeside cabin with Volker and Diana. The rustic interior was very clean, and the hosts were incredibly friendly. Since they lived right next door, we had great conversations and could always reach out to them. The fireplace added to the cozy atmosphere, and the fresh eggs from their own chickens were a lovely touch. The location right by the lake was perfect — absolutely quiet with no light pollution. Canoes and kayaks are already available and can be used from the private dock. There's also a small but excellent and very clean grill. We even received a bottle of wine as a gift — such a kind gesture! We especially loved Mali, their friendly dog, who would occasionally visit for some cuddles. A perfect place to relax. 5 stars!

Our stay at Taravats place was excellent. We had 2 separate families (total of 8 people) of both adults and teenagers and there was tons of room for everyone. Between the hottub, sauna, pool table, dart board, gym, firepit, mini putting green, and giant walk in safe, we had plenty to keep us all busy. Would definitely stay here again. There was also a nice, and unexpected touch of a fully decorated Christmas Tree when we walked in the door.
