Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Caribbean Sea

This was our second time staying at this beautiful home and we actually changed our travel dates based on the times it was available...it's that nice. The view is probably the best in Playas del Coco and the property is super-private. The second bedroom is secluded at the end of the house with it's own entrances so people staying with you will have their own privacy. The house is walking distance to town and the beach but because it is at the top of a hill, the climb could be a challenge for some people. But it is a cheap taxi ride from the beach so really not an issue. Jeannyna is great with communication regarding instructions and house policy and she responds quickly if you have any issues. There is not a bad thing that I can say about this property and we will stay hear again and again.

This home is truly a little piece of paradise made even better by all the thoughtful, comfortable, and beautiful touches by Brenda and Javier. We literally loved every single thing about the place - the views, the tropical plants & flowers, the deck, the comfy beds, the freshly fallen mangos, the privacy, the nature sounds at night. etc, etc. Brenda & Javier were also helpful and super quick to respond when we needed some area recommendations, and which were all great recommendations! We enjoyed our stay sooo much and had so much fun and relaxation there! We felt so lucky to have spotted a coqui frog on our last night too! Thanks for amazing memories here B & J!

Alex the host was amazing! He helped with our meticulous requests we had during our stay. He is very pro active in reaching out and offers activities and recommendations. The chefs he hires for us were all professionals. The house is big and clean. The pool area is aesthetic. A very well recommended villa in Cartagena.

What an amazing home!!! The pool was absolutely beautiful. The home felt private and safe. The kitchen was well equipped and the home was just as described. We absolutely loved our stay here and would 100% return!

I was surprised of how well kept is the place. Although it is not a new place, it seems that they case about keeping the place up to date. One of the things that I liked the most is the extra washrooms outside the house. The fact that we had the help of the property manager is priceless. He was attentive and very helpful.

A group of 4 (2 middle aged couples) stayed 4 nights in May 2025. Pictures can't actually represent the stunning beauty that you see from the entire house. The kitchen had almost every small appliance you could think of, and it was fun to cook as you could look at the mountains while you cooked. The extremely large covered 3 sided veranda was the best part of the place. You could sit outside, eat a meal at the outdoor table or hang in a hammock no matter if it was raining or not. The beds were very comfortable with nice pillows. Angie, the host was very so helpful and kind from the moment we made our reservation. The entrance to the driveway is quite steep, but there is a parking spot down by the entrance so if you didn't want to drive all the way up you could park there and walk up the driveway. With so many windows and no curtains it can get warm in the house in the afternoon, but if you open the doors a nice breeze comes in and cools quickly. Next time, we would stay longer!

The house was amazing! Had everything we needed and more. It was very peaceful there not much noise from the road. The roof top was a hit! I highly recommend. Joshua was very responsive when I needed something as well.

We were looking for a private place to spend our entire staycation and this was the perfect spot. Staying at places with a 2 year old is sometimes challenging, but Costa Solana was the perfect place for us. An entire private pool that is HEATED was 20/10. Also you have the beach right in front of you. We’ll be definitively looking to book again.

Javier was the most amazing host ever! Super proactive and responsive! He offered suggestions for fun things to do, places to eat, activities and more! His home was beautiful and had toiletries available for use. Everything was super clean and the property was BEAUTIFUL! Super peaceful and quiet! We will be staying here next time we come! Our stay in Crochu was unforgettable. The house was beautiful, with the surrounding nature even more stunning. The privacy offered by the Tatou House is tough to beat! Vikki & Linette made the stay very easy. Their suggestions for a rental car were perfect, and necessary. All things about this place made our Honeymoon very special. Thank you Vikki and Victor for creating this piece of paradise.

I have stayed in many places while visiting Costa Rica and this is by far my favorite. it's really hard to put into words just how beautiful this place is.

A Relaxing Stay in Playa del Carmen! I recently had the pleasure of staying in this lovely home in Playa del Carmen, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The house was incredibly spacious, providing more than enough room for our family to spread out and enjoy our time together. Cleanliness was clearly a top priority, as everything was spotless upon our arrival. It made settling in so much more enjoyable, knowing that we were in a well-maintained space. Security was never a concern during our stay, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our vacation without any worries. Our host was fantastic! Jessica is friendly, welcoming, and always available to answer any questions. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Playa del Carmen. I can’t wait to return!

This place is a great idea to book when you realize you may need to find a place that isn’t a hotel because you have become sick of the city area and you crave nature; this is what you’re looking for, the nature and the creek below the RV was something i won’t forget. The mountain drive is scenic and then since it’s pretty far into the mountains she made the kind gesture of offering us a morning breakfast. Everything was delicious. And the space clean and lovely

We absolutely loved our stay here! It’s a clean basic room that was comfortable for sleep with a very large clean modern bathroom. But you stay here for the beach. The location is a dream and leaves you speechless! Our hosts John and Marie were extremely nice and informative. We will definitely stay here again in the very near future.

I can't say enough about this stay. Shekeria and her family were so generous and welcoming toward us. The photos are beautiful, but the actual experience is unbelievable. We were treated so kindly by Shekeria, the driver she arranged for us, Dexter, and the other locals we met while there, including Omar at the jerk chicken place down the road. Shekeria and her mother's cooking is remarkable -- we recommend!! This is a stay in the Carribean like nothing else. The private water access is beautiful and not hard to get to if you can do stairs. Crystal water and sunsets. The family's gardens are pristine and full of color and birds -- we saw the Jamaican national bird, the Doctor Bird, while there, and mangrove trees and several other wondrous bits of nature. Bluefields Beach is not far, too, but we found we really loved being right where we were. This is a special place. So, so grateful that we got to experience it.

private and just as pictured. you're really in the jungle here and feel secluded in a good way. the pool was covered and a great option. we also appreciated having an option for breakfast/lunch food to order and brought directly to the door. this is a solid 15 minute drive from the town center of la fortuna, and a bit closer to 30 minutes to most of the hot spring resorts if you're planning to do a day pass. also this was mentioned by others but it really is quite difficult to not have bugs in the room seemingly all through Costa Rica and this was the case for this room as well.

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Staying at Diosa Jaguar was an unforgettable experience—relaxing, peaceful, and deeply connected to nature. The cabana is simple, rustic, and basic—exactly as advertised and even better in person. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. Ramon was an incredibly helpful and kind host, always available for anything we needed while also giving us space to enjoy the tranquility of the place. The energy here is so warm and welcoming, with wonderful people around who make you feel at home. The location is unbeatable—just a 3-minute walk to a beautiful river for swimming and relaxing, and only a 5-minute walk to the entrance of Tayrona Park. There are also some really interesting hiking trails nearby if you’re up for exploring. If I’m ever back in the area, there’s no question—I’ll be returning to Diosa Jaguar. Highly recommend to anyone looking to disconnect, unwind, and experience the natural beauty of this magical spot.

Amazing loft with all the described amenities. Clean, spacious and the host gave great recommendations. Would definitely return!
