We loved our stay in Sara's rustic farmhouse cottage with its glorious views across the valley, little hill towns on the other side and a beautiful scenic drive across to Orvieto on one side (about 1 hour) and Todi on the other. The pool was heavenly. We only had swimming weather for the first week but we were in every day. When the mornings were cold, I also enjoyed sitting by the pool in the morning sun, reading and drinking my coffee. The garden is also beautiful and very quiet. It was so peaceful here - and what a dream to have the pool to ourselves. Sara lives in the other half of the house with Simone, her partner, and Eugene, the dog - but we never saw them (they have their own entrance) except when they were cleaning the pool. The house is full of art and ceramics, some of which are Sara's own, and we even had lunch in Todi at Simone's restaurant. Yes, the road is rough, but so are all roads in Umbria. We have a mini and the road was not a problem.

Abbiamo trascorso 2 giorni fantastici, consiglio vivamente sia il borgo che la casa. Fornita di tutto, lontana dal caos ma centrale per visitare l'Umbria. Un oasi di pace, sul serio. La famiglia che gestisce la casa è disponibile, accogliente e attenta ai dettagli. Dopo una giornata in giro tra le città d'arte la piscina rende ancora più rilassante il soggiorno. Grazie, torneremo presto.

Wir waren mit unseren 3 Kindern und unserem Hund für eine Woche in Guidos Unterkunft . Sie liegt etwas höher gelegen nicht weit von einem Großen See entfernt , den man vom Garten aus betrachten kann. Es gibt keine direkten Nachbarn und das Ferienhaus ist komplett eingezäunt . Der Pool ist nochmals separat eingezäunt, was es für unsere Kinder sehr sicher gemacht hat, da 2 unserer Kinder noch nicht schwimmen konnten :-) Überall stehen wundervolle Olivenbäume und in Guidos Garten steht der größte Baum . Nebenbei bemerkt bekommt man bei Guido auch eines der besten Oliven Öle aus eigener Produktion ! Der Pool hat eine schöne Größe , ist sehr gepflegt , wie auch die komplette Anlage und auf den liegen bekommt man den ganzen Tag Sonne ab :-) Die kürzeste Entfernung zum Meer mit wundervollem Sandstrand beträgt ca 45 Minuten mit dem Auto. Wir können jedem diese Unterkunft empfehlen der einen Ort zum abschalten sucht und die Seele baumeln lassen möchte , es war ein toller Urlaub ! :-)

Casa ben oltre le aspettative, zona molto tranquilla, circondata da persone molto gentili. La casa in sé è molto meglio che nelle foto,molto Luminosa, la cucina offre tutti i comfort di cui si può avere bisogno, l area sala da pranzo comomoda e ampia, le camere da letto spaziosi, i bagni confortevoli e ben organizzati. Tutta la casa si presenta ben pulita e con l aggiunta di accessori come sapone, lavatrice, materiale per pulire, che rendono l'accoglienza come a casa. Raffaella è splendida, gentilissima, pronta ad aiutare e consigliare, subito reattiva nelle risposte e a venire incontro alle esigenze di tutti. Non dimentichiamo il bellisismo terrazzo e l ampio giardino fornito di una ampia piscina che ho avuto il piacere di poter provare. Fastello è una piccola frazione vicina a moltissime aree di cultura e a montegrotto che offre tutto. Inoltre la fermata del bus è a pochi passi. Alloggiare qui è stato un vero piacere.

Adele is the best host we have had in our history of AirBNBing. She helped us when we got stranded, she was proactive with her communications, and extremely friendly. She is an angel, and we truly enjoyed staying at her property. The property itself was gorgeous, spacious, with stunning views, super clean, and had more than required amenities. Overall, we loved our stay and we would return to Adele 100% given another chance. THANK YOU!

Paola und William haben uns herzlich willkommen geheißen und alles so liebevoll vorbereitet, so wie man es für gute Freunde tun würde! Danke, dass ihr den Pool eine Woche früher geöffnet habt, wir haben das sehr genossen und waren täglich schwimmen! Welch ein Luxus, so einen großen Pool ganz für sich zu haben! Haus und Pool sind eingebettet in perfekt gepflegte Grünanlagen mit Olivenbäumen, Rosmarin, Lavendel und vielem mehr. So viele schöne Ausflüge die man machen kann, aber des Schönste war es abends auf der Terrasse zu essen, über das weite Tal hinweg zu schauen und den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Ein Traum! Danke, dass wir den Traum bei euch leben durften!

Patrizia è stata un'ottima host, gentilissima e molto disponibile. Appena arrivati ci ha dato ottimi consigli sui luoghi da visitare e posti dove pranzare nei dintorni. Ci ha accolti con una buonissima crostata e dei biscottini per i nostri cagnolini. La casa era accuratamente pulita e completa di tutto il necessario, compresa la legna per la brace! Abbiamo trovato molto comoda anche la posizione, immersa nella natura ma a pochi km da diversi borghi molto carini da visitare. Abbiamo passato davvero un ottimo weekend!

Il soggiorno da Maria Giulia purtroppo è durato poco casa strepitosa immersa nel verde perfetta per un soggiorno caratterizzato da relax e pace la piscina punto di forza della struttura Maria Giulia e stata una padrona di casa fantastica dandoci la possibilità di poter usufruire anche prima del check in la struttura abbiamo c ha organizzato un aperitivo a bordo piscina con i suoi salumi e vino direttamente dal loro negozio sito nella struttura dove abbiamo anche comprato prima di andare via che dire sarà un piacere tornare in questo splendido posto gestito alla grandissima da Giulia e da suo Papà che abbiamo avuto il piacere di scambiare una chiacchierata e stata un’esperienza assolutamente da rifare . CONSIGLIO a tutti se si vuole passare del tempo lontano da tutto e da tutti .

THE BEST! My first view out the small terrace was possibly the most beautiful I will ever see: a large mountainside of fields, olive and grape vineyards, quaint homes and large monasteries, winding roads and long high speed passenger trains! Inside, the design and materials of this home cannot be beat: a beautiful combination of 3000 year old history stocked full of modern comforts! Open the doors and windows and feel the breeze waft through smelling of honeysuckle and jasmine. Giovanni’s Castle on the Rock is just amazing. We especially were interested in the Orvieto tuff caves dug by the Bronze Age Etruscans. Beneath our feet were two floors of these caves, beautifully finished and lit with marble and tile floors and steps. Nearby were two more remarkable systems of caves: Il Labirinto and Della La Cava. The latter is less than a block away. Both are far better than the Orvieto Underground! Treat yourselves to this delightful discovery! It’s the perfect rest stop in a medieval city!

Wow! The best stay of our trip! Carolina is an absolute delight and went out of her way to organize a pizza making class for us and gave us phenomenal local recommendations. The space is beautiful, peaceful, and historic and the sights around the area were spectacular. Carolina even shared the very cool history and renovation process of the property with us. I would highly recommend this property!

Alloggio molto carino in pieno centro, posizione ideale per visitare anche Civita di Bagnoregio. Camere pulite e accoglienti. Per il resto servizio impeccabile e proprietario disponibile e gentile.

What a beautiful place! The photos do not do it justice. Claudia's Casa was spotlessly clean, well-stocked, and very quiet. It would help you to know that Via Pellegrini is bi-level. The entrance to Claudia's place is up the stairs, just under the portico. After we learned the streets, we were happy to know that hers easily led into the hearts of town. Claudia's parking instructions, and then her walking instructions, were perfect. Do not map her street address! Map her parking instructions. It will save you a lot of time and angst. My co-pilot did me wrong. And that is all I will say about that! Viterbo is a lovely small town, and Claudia's place exactly mirrors its character. We loved staying at Claudia's, not just for what I mentioned, but because her instructions were so clear, the amenities were exactly as described, and her home felt so comfortable, we could have stayed longer. Plus...Viterbo may not be on your bucket list, but it should be!

I loved everything about my two days here - Manciano is a great place to be based and Luisella’s place was great. It’s well equipped and feels quirky and characterful. Very close to the piazza (which has a great restaurant/wine bar) and the roof terrace was lovely at any time of day, with beautiful views, and often a welcome breeze! Wish I’d had longer here.

We had a wonderful stay at La Bandita! Debora is an amazing host who takes care of every detail. We were welcomed with thoughtful gifts – wine, pasta, homemade jams – a true taste of Tuscany. The house is beautifully equipped: spices, oils, kitchen tools, ice cubes, even toothbrushes and soaps in the bathroom. Extra towels, cozy blankets, and everything we could possibly need were provided. The location is peaceful and picturesque, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Tuscan countryside. Breakfasts on the terrace with the panoramic view were unforgettable. Communication with Debora was excellent – she was kind, responsive, and made us feel at home. We truly felt taken care of and appreciated every moment spent there. La Bandita is a magical place, full of warmth and charm. We’d love to return one day – it felt like a home away from home, and we can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for an authentic and comfortable Tuscan getaway. We'd love to come back!

Annarita and her house were amazing! She was so kind, friendly and super helpful. We needed instructions on how to get to the train station and not only did she tell us where to meet the bus and when, she walked us to the store to purchase the tickets and then to the bus stop so we knew exactly where to go. The house was spotless and exactly as it looks in the pictures. There was a grocery store, a bakery, and a fruit and vegetable market all within a 10 minute walk of her house. We walked back to the house from the old town (Orvieto Duomo) in about 30 minutes. Obviously it would take longer if you were to walk up to the old town due to the hills. Also, there were tons of free parking spaces right outside the house. If we are ever back in this area, we would love to stay at Annarita's again!

This was our 5th trip to Orvieto and this AirBnB is the absolute winner. We called it our Palazzito--small palace. Everything was top notch--from the decorations to the furnishings to the amenities. And the rooftop patio is stupendous Highly recommended!

Adelaide’s place is very peaceful -- you can hear the birds chirping in the garden and there's a comfortable hammock a few steps from the front door and an outdoor shower nearby -- and yet it's only a few minutes from Atigliano. Important for me: Adelaide is a dog lover and was very kind and helpful with my dog, Mocha. The only small drawback is that the indoor shower is tiny. I'm tall with an average build and could hardly fit in it. But the lovely outdoor shower (which provides privacy) made up for it and is a treat on a hot day.

Valentina’s apartment was exactly what we needed! It was in perfect condition, close enough to the Rome airport to easily make a mid day flight and far enough to enjoy a day of peace and quiet in a classic and very friendly Italian town. We especially loved how much space the home has and all the great recommendations and instructions left for us. Thanks so much!!! I will miss my morning coffee in your patio 😊

Il casale è FAVOLOSO! Siamo stati in questo bellissimo posto in 7 persone, l'intera mia famiglia! ogni camera corrispondeva alla descrizione, pulita e confortevole. letti comodi e zanzariere utilissime in campagna! i miei genitori hanno apprezzato tantissimo la suite al piano secondo, ed i bagni erano dotati di docce comode ed acqua calda. la ciliegina sulla torta è sicuramente lo spazio esterno! il giardino a perdita d'occhio, il silenzio, l'aria pulita... l'amaca! abbiamo fatto un barbecue con altri amici in vacanza domenica sera, e lo spazio ha soddisfatto le aspettative di tutti. è stato difficilissimo lasciare il casale lunedì mattina, e svegliarsi oggi non circondati dalla natura ha messo ancora di più l'accento su quanto sia stato magnifico il nostro soggiorno! informazioni tecniche: il centro città dista poco a piedi, ma come tutti i paesini della zona aspettatevi salite e discese abbastanza ripide! vale comunque la pena! tutti i paesi vicini a distanza di 25min. d'auto! SUPER!

We had a wonderful stay! The location is absolutely beautiful – peaceful, scenic, and just perfect for a relaxing getaway. Arianna was excellent at communicating and responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had. Highly recommend!

Très bon séjour dans cet appartement/maison à 3 minutes du centre d'Orvieto. Extrêmement paisible. La petite cour dans la verdure avec les chaises longues est agréable. La maison et le quartier ont du charme. Ayez quand même en tête que si vous êtes trois personnes, le couple dans la chambre du fond est obligé de passer par la pièce où se trouve le lit à une place pour aller dans le reste de l'appartement et en particulier dans la salle d'eau. Cela peut être un problème. Accueil ponctuel et sympatique de Camilla. Nombreuses adresses de restaurants et recommandations de visites touristiques.

Great house, comfortable and very atmospheric, with a lot of character. Excellent location just outside of the walls of the town, perfect base to explore Umbria. The house is spacious, very well equipped with everything you can possibly need during your stay. Eleonora is very welcoming, helpful and responsive host. We enjoyed our 1-week stay in Villa Dorata so much and would highly recommend it for your future vacation in Todi/Umbria!

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr, sehr schön und wir können die Region, die Kleinstadt Amelia und das Apartment von ganzem Herzen empfehlen. Wir hoffen, dass wir nächstes Jahr wieder hinfahren können. ☺️

Calcata alleine ist die Reise wert. Das Spa von Christian ist eine Oase der Entspannung. Wir haben unsere Flitterwochen dort verbracht und waren trotz der Fotos wahnsinnig überrascht, wie schön diese Unterkunft ist. Wir können es absolut empfehlen.
