We loved this peaceful, spotless refuge while on grandparent duty. Deb and James were friendly hosts and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed hearing about local amenities such as the outstanding Opuke hot pools! Thank you.

Our family stayed for 2 night's and we wished we could of had longer(my daughterwouldhave liked to stay forever hah). The most amazing spot, with beautiful scenery and very peaceful. The cottage was lovely and well set up with all the little details thought of. Katrina was the perfect host with responsive flexible communication. Thank you so much for all your effort Katrina and sharing your magical spot with us. We definitely want to comr back again💚

Lovely, peaceful cottage with beautiful mountain views. The king bed was super comfy, and everything was clean and well-equipped. Great spot for a quiet, nature-filled getaway.

Cosy wee cottage which felt like stepping into the past- full of interesting old timey stuff (including some very amusing books!) Has a fire which keeps the place warm and and outdoor bath which takes a bit of effort to get going but well worth it. Hosts were welcoming and very responsive and helpful. The location of Harihari is great for seeing the West Coast as it’s right between Hokitika and Franz Josef. So there’s heaps to see- gorgeous walks, forests, river and beaches. Highlight was the hidden away hot springs very close by. Overall very much recommend :)

What can we say, this was outstanding! From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. The styling of the house was beautiful, the bar was cool and the spa! We spent a number of hours in the spa, stunned by the breathtaking views around us. Not to mention the house smelled amazing, it was such a treat. Highly recommend Cam's place if you're visiting Little River, we will definitely be back.

One of the best equipped bnbs we have stayed at, after experiencing almost a hundred all over the world It is actually a gem in Twizel for the following reasons: - fabulous outdoor hottub; - squeaky clean and spick and span; - quiet but easily accessible by car to supermarkets and restaurants; - Responsive host; - Facilities just as described, almost brand new, wonderful

Hazelnut cottage is so peaceful and surrounded by beautiful gardens. We stayed with our 9 month old baby and the place had everything we needed. Nicola and family were on hand to help if needed anything and super friendly. The pigs are a great solution for food waste too and our daughter loved watching them snaffle down the hazelnuts in the morning.

We loved our stay at Caitlin’s place. It was so quiet and peaceful, comfortable cottage, great beds and extras like fresh walnuts and Easter eggs! Thanks for having us stay.

We booked and stayed for a birthday treat. Our stay was amazing, one of the best places we have stayed at. The attention to detail was fantastic, everything was thought of. Loved the history of the place. This place did not disappoint and we look forward to returning!! If we could give more than 5 stars we would!!

Such a gem of a place! Absolutely loved our stay here with the kids and dog. Plenty of things to do around the place and is lovely to feel like you are staying in a home that is well equipped with everything you need with a comfy fire. Refreshing to stay in a place that was so clean! Will definitely be back in the future!

Such a nice cozy cool place you have Shannell. Lots of separate areas to hang out in or outside and in any weather condition too. Wish I had more time to spend in Reefton to get to use more of the facilities. I absolutely love that this accommodation is pet friendly too. Decent sized fully fenced yard also. I found the bedding with electric blanket super comfortable and the house was clean with no pet hair in sight. Great for families with kids as there are toys and games to play with. When I’m back in town again, I look forward to rebooking it again. 🙂

Anna’s place was so very good. It is quite obvious that she has hone to great lengths to ensure that her guests are comfortable. Everything was so clean and really comfortable. If I am ever lucky enough to come back to Kaikoura, I will stay gladly stay here again

We were lucky to stay in this cozy little modern cottage in Fairlie. The weather Gods also blessed us with a clear sky so we could fall asleep under the stars shining through the two remote controlled sky lights in the home’s only bedroom. The host Ellie was responsive to any questions we had. They even arranged a baby cot for us which was important for our family trip. It was a great location, about half an hour further north than Lake Tekapo but perfect for our RnR on our road trip up to Christchurch. There are a few petrol stations and eateries only 2 minutes drive or 9 minute’s walk away but lucky the host informed us they do close by 8 PM. It was quite frosty overnight but it felt warm and cozy with ample heating in the property. The kitchen is sufficient but no dishwasher. The bathroom had enough space with good pressure on the shower head.

We loved this cosy little cottage, super warm and welcoming, the little touches like having the heater on ahead of our arrival was lovely. Delightful fire place and furnishings, incredible views and amazing location particularly as surfers we could check the conditions from right near the cottage. A gorgeous little place - can highly recommend!

We had a very enjoyable stay and really wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage is in a very pretty and quiet setting, spotlessly clean and so very comfortable in all respects. Corinne and Stefan are excellent hosts and it was lovely to meet them. Highly recommended.

We stayed two wonderful nights in Cass Crib. The view is so spectacular words cannot describe it. We were lucky that it had snowed which made our stay even more magical. The kitchen is well equipped to cook a meal or two at home but is local to cafes and restaurants if wanting to eat out. The home itself is very tidy and clean with lots of space. The staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful it was a pleasure to meet them on our journey of the South Island (they had some great recommendations of places to visit and eat at). 10/10 we would recommend to other people to stay.

The garden is beautifully kept and clearly cared for with love — it‘s a joy just to look out and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
