We had a great time at Christophe's place. The apartment is newly renovated, very well equipped and comfortable, ideally located 100 m from the cable cars and 20 m from the hot spring on the village square (ideal for an aperitif after skiing). It's really nice, in the mountains, to have so much space in your home. The bedding is very good (140 x 190 cm bed in the bedroom, same for the living room sofa bed). The shower cabin is large and pleasant. The spaces are well organized and all necessary equipment is available (even the raclette machine!) Small touches (coffee and tea available) but no garbage bags, tea towels or bath mats. Which is not a problem in itself, but it would be helpful to mention it in the listing.

The property was everything we’d hoped for, peaceful, private and in a beautiful setting. It was equipped with everything we could need, with very comfortable furniture and high quality linens. The kitchen was very well equipped indeed, I loved the air fryer! Colin met us on arrival, unlocking the door and showing us how to operate the shutters before making himself scarce. Although the hosts live next door they’d obviously gone to some effort to make sure the property felt private, we hardly knew they were there. The area is just beautiful with some very scenic villages within a short drive. We’d recommend visiting Montolieu as well as Carcassonne itself. The Lac de la Cavayere is well worth a visit in nice weather and I suspect even more so in summer when all of its activities are in operation. Colin very kindly negotiated with the cleaners to allow us an extra hour before we had to check out - with 7 hours between checkout and our flight this was very much appreciated!

Great stay at Sofia's house. Very nice house, two separate bedrooms, two toilets, free parking on the house. Heating had been turned on. Thank you for this detail, important, because it was cold and wet outside that day. We recommend this place to stay!Martine

Amazing location with endless views of water and nature. Denys was incredibly helpful and timely in his communications and he carried a translator which was super helpful with our basic French. The outdoor space had a variety of setups for wind and sun. We could walk or the door for exercise and enjoying spring nature. The vegetable basket from his local garden was so appreciated! We had a great stay my kids and me. Sebastien is a very friendly and welcoming host . The apartment is well arranged and very well located for walking, taking the bus or renting bikes….. The environment is quiet and pleasant with views of the marina and the sea. Private parking space is an undeniable bonus. Thank you again to the hosts for their kindness and responsiveness . We will definitely come back to Sébastien and Julie's place for an upcoming stay in Sete.
