Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Canada

It was spring break so I brought my 15yo with me on my work trip. She really enjoys staying at this house too. She pretty much lives in the hot tub and she enjoys walking in the park close by. Highly recommend this place!!

Such a charming space! The house is "lived in", meaning it had all the creature comforts of a "home", it didn't feel like a sparse rental. My family and I were only there for 2 nights, but when I saw the fully stocked kitchen, I wanted to cook or bake! The beds were comfortable, tons of towels available, even robes... the backyard outdoor space was so cozy for morning coffee or afternoon lounging. The location is perfect: on a very quiet street, but a 60-second walk to the main village with wonderful shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as Little Beach. Susanna is a perfect host. Communication was outstanding. She was so helpful with finding places that would be open on Easter weekend. I would recommend Orchard Beach Boutique Cottage if you're looking for a relaxing place that is close to lots of amenities; I would love to go back during the summer.

We had some early morning work in the area and Mandy's place was perfect for a small crew to stay in. We will be booking it again for sure!

Kelli’s place is amazing- absolutely what I expected based on the photos. If you are considering this spot- book it! IWe were just able to do one night stay at this place, but wished we could extend our trip. It is located in a quiet, serene area, and is a big property so make sure you explore!! Don’t forget to enjoy with the goats or to relax in the hot tub. I am so glad I booked my time here.

Stayed here for 2 nights for my birthday/Mother’s Day getaway with my husband and our kids. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind- house was extremely clean, Dale was very responsive to any questions we had! Already trying to plan a trip back!

We loved staying at Dave’s Central location perfect for Nanaimo adventures, and super close to the ferry We’d love to get back some day!

Felt very at home in this place ! Kitchen was extremely well stocked and the beds were extremely comfy. Would absolutely stay again !

This was a great suite with everything you could want. Melissa and Dunbar made everything easy and assisted promptly with check-in. There’s a pretty sweet little pub right below too that’s worth a visit. Would stay again!

This was our second stay and it was perfect. Such a cozy space, very clean, and lots of extra touches to make you feel right at home. It’s a great central location to do visiting or sightseeing from.

Excellent basement apartment, well maintained. We enjoyed our one-night stay at Donna's place. One small detail that might have been overlooked is the absence of an exhaust fan in the washroom. This may have contributed to the stagnant odour we noticed upon entering the apartment.

We had a wonderful stay at Nancey and her husband’s place! They were incredibly welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. The Airbnb was very clean, very comfortable, and exactly as described. It’s also perfectly located—just a few minutes away from Picton’s Main Street. They were always quick to respond and gave us great recommendations on places to visit in the area. Plus, they were very kind with our dog, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend!

A very nice apartment, central, the beds are very comfortable and covers all your needs. Additional hosts are extremely pending.

Brilliant location for the harbour everything in walkable distance, clean and well stocked kitchen . Responsive host would recommend.

This house is really close to Granville island. 8min to the little bridge next to pond. Parking is convenient too. We had 4 adults and 2 kids for the trip and everyone had a great stay.

We had the best stay at Barbara’s! It was spacious and well-stocked and very comfortable.

Teresa was an excellent host and always very responsive and helpful meeting one’s needs. The apartment was very homely and comfortable for 3 of us and could accommodate 4. This Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The location couldn’t have been better—close to everything, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The check-in process was seamless, with clear and easy-to-follow instructions that made getting into the unit hassle-free. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Chelsea's rental is precisely what you pay for, and it is well operated. Chelsea was very responsive, even when there was a hiccup with cleaning. The location is across from the rink, which is likely ideal if you're in town for a game. We were there for a conference at the convention centre. However, it is downtown Winnipeg, which isn't a great place to be if you're an out-of-town tourist looking to experience the best of what the city has to offer.
