Amazing little spot to come home to after a long day! Hot tub and pool are on point, and the backyard area is lovely and tranquil backing on to a wooded area, with nice views and even some wildlife :)

It felt right at home and, worked really great with our getaway trip. Would recommend to stay here.

We had a really pleasant stay at Cathy’s place! Host was welcoming and friendly, gave us a rundown on how to work some amenities. Every part of the house felt comfortable - even little details like the springy bed and fluffy bathing towels made the stay x10 better. The television was equipped with lots of various channel - Netflix, prime, YouTube and many more! Thank you for hosting us :-)

Truly a one-of-a-kind experience!!! We were so happy to be Annemarie and Erik’s first guests this spring. After spending months in Vancouver’s cloudy and rainy weather, we were really craving some sunshine—and this stay delivered. Sipping wine in the hot tub while soaking in the stunning view of Okanagan Lake was exactly what we needed. To be honest, we had originally planned to visit several other places during our trip, but the relaxing atmosphere here completely changed our minds. We ended up spending both days just unwinding and enjoying the space. The suite itself was spotless and fully equipped, with thoughtful touches and handmade elements that made it feel especially homey and welcoming. We’re so grateful to have spent our first spring weekend in such a lovely place and highly recommend booking a stay with Annemarie and Erik. Looking forward to returning soon :) A & V

Thank you John for being a great host! Although we didn’t get to enjoy all the great amenities, we enjoyed the view and the Airbnb itself was perfect. John thought of everything and this place is cozy, comfortable and so very peaceful. Won’t miss out on this gem, it was so nice to go to sleep listening to the water. I wish we were there longer to enjoy!

We spent a night here and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. After a long day exploring the island, a refreshing bath and a quiet rest was just what I needed. The area itself is truly picturesque—so much so that we chose it for our pre-wedding photoshoot. Everything we needed was right at hand, and the overall experience was truly memorable. I absolutely loved my time here.

A Hidden Gem Near Winnipeg – Ox+Bow Is Simply Perfect We honestly can't express how amazed and grateful we are to have discovered Ox+Bow. This place completely exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and cared for. The hosts are incredibly supportive, and you can tell that every single detail has been thought through with love and intention. Everything—from the luxurious amenities to the perfectly organized setup—feels five-star. The hot tub, sauna, outdoor barbecue, and the beautiful terrace by the riverside created the perfect setting for our girls’ getaway. We spent our time laughing, relaxing, eating, drinking, and just enjoying the peace and beauty of nature. The indoor space is warm, cozy, and full of character—beautifully designed and truly feels like a home away from home. After three years in Canada, this was our first proper escape from the city, and we couldn’t have chosen a better spot.

Every detail was so thoughtfully considered, from the extra snacks and bathroom essentials we didn’t even realize we might need, to cozy robes for the hot tub, and even heated floors in the bathroom. The space is incredibly spacious with farm accents that instantly made us feel at home. The king-size bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the hosts stocked the house with everything from board games to a computer, making our stay both fun and relaxing. The outdoor space was just as magical. We spent our evenings soaking in the amazing hot tub, and enjoying private BBQs in the beautifully set up outdoor area. The views were stunning, and the entire property felt peaceful and secluded….a perfect romantic escape. We also got to explore the area: visiting waterfalls, castles, a botanical garden, antique malls, and even Medieval Times! It was a wonderful mix of adventure and rest. Our hosts were incredibly gracious, communicative & kind! A truly wonderful place.

My partner and I were completely flabbergasted! it’s just stunning. For me, what made it even more special is that I live fairly close by, so discovering a hidden gem like this right around the corner felt like a dream. Location, Location, Location. If your desire is to go somewhere with a great view, combined with incredible accommodations, than this place is a "Must Stay" Far enough away from the local town of Chilliwak, but still close enough if you need to rush to town for restaurants, shopping, medical, etc.

Anita is a fantastic host. She has provided clear directions and ensured that everything met my expectations. Her place is brand new, spotless, private, quiet and located in a beautiful and calm environment. Highly recommend.
