The advertising is correct - visit Barcelona, stay at the beach. Barcelona is about 40 minutes away by train (which is a short walk). The beach is just across the road and under the train line - perfect for the hot days we had. Also close to lots of small supermarkets for food and wine; also to many beach cafes and town restaurants (note the Spanish eat late - after 1pm for lunch; after 8pm for dinner)

We had a lovely welcome from Marc on arrival, the house is so beautiful and very peaceful, any questions were responded to very quickly and Marc went out of his way to get us anything we'd missed on our shop. Would love to stay again! I’d recommend hiring a car for the stay to make the food shop and travel easier, but taxis were a reasonable price. Thanks so much!

Everything was a 10, starting with Maria Teresa, a great hostess, who welcomed us on arrival and saw us off. The apartment is very nice and quiet, thanks for the coffee capsules, I'm a coffee lover.... Lots of sets of towels and sheets. Impeccable cleanliness, kitchen with all the utensils...... As I said before, a 10. If we have the chance to come back to the area, we'll repeat. Thank you.

Fantastic place close to Barcelona and Girona. Very nice apartment and very friendly host. Gave a lot of tips about the area and public transport. Tossa de Mar is very worthwhile and the many markets in the area are very nice to visit. 1 disadvantage is that there are so many mosquitoes that you can not sit outside without being bitten. Unfortunately, nothing helps, despite having a very nice holiday with good connection to public transport and car to Barcelona.
