The landing beaches are 20 km away, Bayeux and its famous tapestry are 30 minutes away. Carentan train station 10 minutes away, direct train to Paris.

The Old House

We are located in rural Normandy, France, 500m from a small village. Our home consists of an original house and attached larger house. We live in the larger house and it is the original house which is the accommodation offered here. The accommodation has its own entrance and is separated from our house by thick stone walls. There is a living room at ground level with a corner kitchen and upstairs is a bedroom with en-suite bathroom. It is a very quiet location.

This comfortable 2 person renovated barn house ‘La Petite Sapience’ with private garden is located at the border of the quiet medieval village Sap en Auge. You'll stay in a stylish studio-like holiday home with downstairs a living, dining and kitchen area and a separate modern bathroom. The bedroom with a 2-person bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. The private garden has garden furniture en sun loungers. The dinner table is also suitable as a nice workplace.

The Guesdons Barn

Old stone barn, renovated and equipped on a closed lot with two private parking spaces, accommodating 6 guests. Sheets and towels are provided. Beds made upon arrival. The Grange offers a large swimming pool (4x8) / terrace shared with the owners, a private Jacuzzi and many outdoor games. You will find all the modern comforts and tranquility of the countryside just minutes from Bayeux and the landing beaches.

The barn room near Omaha Beach/Bayeux

We restored and arranged this large room in an old barn. It is located on the first floor of our house and is accessed by a private entrance. We wanted to keep its old features, part of the ceiling is dirt and straw. The exposed stone walls have been restored with old-fashioned lime. The room is large, 35 m2, with a beautiful view of the countryside. En suite bathroom. a king size bed Very quiet place

Romantic retreat in the countryside

Former cowshed, this cosy dwelling has been completely rebuilt and kitted out with a goal to being carbon neutral. It is an intimate one bedroom retreat with central suspended fireplace, modern underfloor heating and water heating from a modern air-air heat pump. Luxury and comfort are assured with dishwasher and washer/dryer, and the setting is completely private for the perfect romantic getaway.
