We absolutely loved our stay here. We were bowled over by the size of the villa and the outdoor space, even better than the photos suggested. We enjoyed spending time around the pool, eating outdoors and taking in the panoramic views each day and looking out over the mountains at sunset. We walked into town several times, Altea is stunning with lots of lovely restaurants. So much to see around the area. Would highly recommend!

a fantastic vacation. We have traveled as a family with children and my girl with special needs and everything is fine. And already if I put a guardrail to hold on to climb the stairs that take you to the pool it would already be a 10 of 10 . more than anything for the elderly and reduced mobility. Otherwise it's an excellent place to enjoy as a family. Thank you 😁🥳

We had a wonderful week in a cozy house with a large walled garden with flowering plants and a lovely swimming pool. Excellent base for Alicante center, beaches and surrounding towns. Martina is a wonderful hostess ! If you are looking for a very good restaurant in the area: go to Zinc in Mutxamel.

We stayed at the villa with seven people – two couples and three singles – and it was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. The location and the view of the sea are simply breathtaking; we could never get enough of it. The house radiates a wonderful sense of peace and calm and is spacious enough for everyone to find their own quiet corner. The large terrace invites you to relax and makes time feel like it stands still. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the small outdoor kitchen with a grill is definitely a highlight. We will definitely be coming back!

Great place, friendly hosts, the pool is fantastic, the views of the mountains are fantastic from the top terrace. It has many different ambience us to hang out enough. The beds are comfortable people need. The beds are comfortable. The air conditioning works well. Overall a great place to stay.

The house is fantastic, the pool and play area for the kids in the garden are perfect for the little ones, the house is very comfortable and with very nice sea views. It has many different living areas and all of them very well cared for. The owners were very friendly and communicative. We were very comfortable. It is a 100% recommended accommodation.

What a beautiful villa! We just returned from the most wonderful stay here at Casa Buho. Our family of 6 enjoyed every minute. The setting is spectacular, swimming in the pool with Montgo behind us, sitting on the Naya to enjoy a meal with views over the nearby villages, we truly did not want to leave. The villa is very well equipped; the kitchen is well stocked with both suitable appliances and equipment for cooking meals at home, the rooms have ample storage and space for comfort, and both bathrooms are spacious. The property is very secure, we felt so safe here. There is an electric gate for entry, and all the doors have metal shutters for extra security and an alarm. The AC is only located in the bedrooms, so during this heatwave, we found that if we kept all exterior doors closed and shutters down, and kept the AC on in the lower rooms, the house was at a comfortable temperature. It's worth noting the house layout, the master room is on the first floor with its own ensuite; separate bath and shower, and a double sink. On the ground floor, you will find the other bedrooms, one double room, one twin room, and the second bathroom (double sink, bath, and separate shower. Communication with Carolina was always prompt, and any issues we had during our stay were dealt with quickly. The sink tap in the kitchen became loose and a plumber was sent out the same day. Xabia town is perfect, there are many bars and restaurants along both the sea front and within the old town, as well as the local larger supermarkets like Mercadonna. There is also a very well-stocked local store at the bottom of the road, La Ermita Local Market, which had everything we needed, fresh fruit, veg and salad, meat, as well as an in-store bakery for the most amazing fresh bread, pastries, and quiches. We mainly shopped here as it was so convenient. There are so many good restaurants very close by, Mongto Restaurant served grilled meats and fish with simple sides, and Los Almendros offers a wide menu with starters, mains and dessert, plus a glass of wine or beer for an extremely low set price. Punta Benemaquia was also perfect, traditional Spanish cuisine in a lovely outdoor setting. Slightly further away, but restaurants worth trying, Terra, Da Giulia, there is an amazing account on IG @costa_blanca_restaurants have some amazing suggestions and we tried quite a few of them! 
There are some incredibly beautiful beaches a short drive away. Granadella and Portixol deserve special mentions. Both car parks fill up very early in high season, so getting there for 8am just about gets you a spot as the walks down hill to these beaches are hard work in the heat or with small children. Cala Clemence, the beach bar & restaurant on Cala de Portixol is exceptionalThe food here, drinks, decor and setting are not to be missed and most certainly our favourite meal here in the Xabia region. The local towns like Gata de Gorgos, fantastic town for basket bags, rugs and ceramics, I spent a lot here! Jesus Pobre is also good for smaller bars, and a very good pharmacy should you need anything on your holiday, we visited a few times! The night market in Denia is a great destination for an evening stroll along the marina, a drink and lots of jewellery stalls. The children loved this. We came back to the Marina for a boat tour with Mundo Marino, we did the 5 hour boat trip to Granadella which was fantastic. Amazing staff, food on the boat was also great, highly recommended.

Other fun days out were to Las Fuentes del Algar, the natural water springs and Aqualandia waterpark. We cannot wait to return to Xabia, and will definitely stay at Casa Buho, we couldn't fault a single thing!

Very spacious house and with many amenities, air conditioning, TV in the rooms, washing machine, dryer,... Large swimming pool and fantastic Jacuzzi. This is a great house for large families.

My family and I had a very pleasant 10 days stay. Upon arrival, the host was very welcoming, the house was clean, and the communication was easy. The house is huge, perfect for accommodating a larger social network, and our 9-person team could comfortably accommodate! The hosts are fantastic, very friendly and helpful, communicative and we had everything! The neighborhood is peaceful, quiet and calm, the view from the house is beautiful! The terrace and super pool make your stay more comfortable! All rooms are air-conditioned, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and there are enough bathrooms! Thank you for a great stay, we had a great time! If you're looking for a place to stay in this area, choose this wonderful place because we guarantee you won't be disappointed!!

We had a pleasant stay at Maria's house. It's big enough for 12 people with spaces for each . The landscape and the outdoor kitchen are a real plus. However, we regret the lack of black-out shutters in the upper bedroom as well as air conditioning in the ground floor rooms. Maria is a pleasant and very responsive host.

We had an incredible weekend at this beautiful villa. The house was exactly as pictured: spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Every detail, from the well-stocked kitchen to the cozy bedrooms, was thoughtfully prepared. The location was perfect for our group of 7, offering a peaceful retreat just a short walk from the beach. We loved starting our mornings with a dip in the pool and relaxing in the evenings on the terrace. The foosball/billiard table and gas grill were great extras. Margarita and her husband were fantastic hosts, always available to help and even brought us extra gas for the grill. Their hospitality made our stay special. The house exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it for a relaxing beach getaway. Thank you, Margarita, for an amazing experience! We can’t wait to return!

This villa is stunning, as is the location. There was so much outside space, the mountain walls are beautiful and the sea is near enough on the doorstep. We went in November and there was only one restaurant open which closed mid afternoon, however taxis to the town weren’t too expensive so I’d didn’t cause a problem and was worth this to stay in such a beautiful home and surroundings. Gema was extremely friendly and helpful and very accommodating and was always quick to reply when contacted. Highly recommend.

Our short break was made extra special with the host Johan going above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. The villa was spotlessly clean and had all we needed. Plenty of restaurants within easy reach and a short walk to the beach made it completely perfect. The 4 of us will be back.

This was our second visit here (we came Easter 2024), so we knew what to expect. As previously, the house was/is fantastically located for beaches, the tram network up and down the coast, and a great base for a simple family holiday. Pablo is a fantastic host, and the house, although not fancy, suited us perfectly. We loved it! P.s the outdoor shower is our favourite!

Our stay at the house was fantastic. The house is super comfortable and is equipped with everything you need for a perfect vacation: it has two spacious living rooms, full kitchens, children's games and very comfortable sofas. But what surprised us the most were the beds and pillows, completely new and very comfortable, something unusual in a vacation home. The owner's attention has been excellent from the first moment, providing us with useful information about the area and all the details of the house. He was always attentive and available for any inquires. In addition, she had the detail to immediately send us some AirPods that we forgot in the house, which shows her great attention and kindness. Definitely a fantastic house that we will love to return to.

It was excellent from the beginning, Tere was quick to respond to any questions we had, I tell us how to get there easily, and once we arrived we loved its kindness and closeness, about the house in addition to being a haven of peace, the cleanliness of the house excellent, smell super well, cared for in every detail ! coffee and fruit😍 capsules, bath and pool towels, bathroom details, board games, bbk charcoal! We recently had the pleasure of spending a whole month at Feliciano’s. The house is spacious, airy with lots of natural light. But what really makes it marvellous (and the photos don’t do it justice) is the ocean view. The house is well equipped with amenities such as a washer/dryer, dishwasher etc and all utensils for cooking. And as we were travelling with our nine month old baby, Feliciano kindly provided a cot and high chair and also a tub at our request. The shared pool was cold (no surprise since it was October), but it was great to cool off as most days we enjoyed temperatures of 25/26 degrees. We also had the pleasure of meeting Ioana who stopped by to give the house a quick clean during our long stay - lovely and proficient. The location was great to explore local towns and beaches nearby. There is a supermarket within walking distance but you will need a car to get around! Feliciano was easy to contact and quick to help. We had a lovely time.
