Minimalist, cozy, rustic and beautifully located on the high Dörnberg above the city of Zierenberg. In the immediate vicinity is an Icelandic horse farm and the restaurant Bergcafé Friedrichstein. Within walking distance are the glider airfield (one of the oldest gliding areas in Germany), the Wichtelkirche and the Helfensteine. The area is very popular for its great hiking trails (e.g. Habichtswaldsteig) and its juniper vegetation along the limestone grassland areas.

The Rittergut Meimbressen is an agricultural property in Calden-Meimbressen. In addition to the farm facilities, which are still used for agricultural purposes, the property includes a historic house from the early 18th century. century, including the garden. In 2023, the house was extensively renovated and energetically refurbished. A modern heat pump, which is fed via the farm's own PV system, supplies the estate with sustainable energy and heat.

The apartment in the Hasen-Haus is located not far from Lake Affoldern, right at the entrance to the Kellerwald National Park – the perfect start to wonderful hikes. It is about 2 km to Lake Edersee. Around the lake there are countless leisure activities for all ages: the wildlife park, the summer toboggan run, a treetop trail, the climbing park, bike tours, water sports and swimming on and in the lake, a canoe tour on the Eder and much more.
