Holiday rentals with a patio in Calci

The place has the most gorgeous views and it is absolutely quiet - except for bird song. Perfect for relaxation. I went swimming in the pool every morning. We were able to explore Northern Tuscany, using La Lavanda as a base. One just has to be prepared for a pretty scary drive up and down the mountain. But one gets used to it. Sabrina welcomed us and was really, really helpful. Highly recommended.

Tammy and Eme were wonderful hosts. My wife and I booked for quite a long stay as part of a sabbatical in Italy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Casa al Poggio is in a quiet location, surrounded by spectacular countryside, between two small towns, each charming in its own way, and with easy access to both Florence and Siena. Tammy and Eme offered great recommendations regarding places to explore in the local area and a host of tips that helped us get the most out of our stay. We absolutely intend to return and stay with them again.

This was a fantastic stay in a great location, right in the heart of the city center of Lucca. The apartment matched the description perfectly. It was especially convenient for anyone studying at LIS (Lucca Italian School). The host was incredibly kind and helpful, even assisting with luggage on both arrival and departure. The host was also very responsive whenever needed. The balcony was a big plus - as you are on the third floor, but you can step outside any time. We really enjoyed the birds outside. This place is highly recommended, and we would stay again the future.

It was a pleasant stay for the May holiday, lovely apartment in a quiet neighborhood and close to bus station. The landlord is very nice and responsible, looking forward to come back to Pisa one day!

Matteo’s apartment is exactly as described and was exactly what we need for our short trip to Pisa. It’s 10-15 mins walk to Pisa central station and 20-30 mins walk to the leaning tower. As a host Matteo is very responsive and gave good tips and advices for what i needed: place for a pacifier for my baby, place to eat, how to best get around. I would recommend this place to anyone :)

Waren für eine Nacht dort, da am nächsten Morgen unsere Fähre nach Sardinien ablegte. Der Hafen ist nur ca. 3 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Alessandro ist ein netter, offener Gastgeber. Persönlicher Empfang und gute Ratschläge. Man hat sich in der Wohnung sehr sicher gefühlt. Nachts war es draußen etwas lauter, aber dafür kann der Gastgeber ja nichts.

The apartment is lovely and the location to the city of Luca was so convenient.

Wir haben zu zweit mitte Mai Donatellas Mini-Appartment elf Tage bewohnt und uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Auf ca 20m2 alles vom Feinsten und sehr sauber. Mit dem Leihwagen besuchten wir von dort aus Livorno , Pisa,San Giminiano, Volterra, Lucca und Florenz. Dazwischen genossen wir Ruhetage auf der schönen Terrasse. Donatella empfahl uns ihren Strandabschnitt 'Lido di Tirrenia" ,wo wir Strandtage unter ihrem Sonnenschirm/Stühle verbrachten. Wir lieben das Landleben und empfehlen die 'Oase des Friedens ' uneingeschränkt weiter.

We loved staying here! the views out of the terrace and even the bathroom window were something I’ve never seen before, right out of a movie. About a 15 minute drive to the closest city, San Miniato, which has great restaurants. This was such a charming & peaceful place to stay in Tuscany, and the visits from the neighborhood cats on the terrace was a bonus! :)

Wonderful place to either lay back and enjoy the picturesque-postcard view from the comfort of your front yard or the pool (which was refreshingly cool in June), or to go further explore Tuscany locations within reach. The house was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you could ask for, ie a quiet and air conditioned bedroom, kitchen with a gas stove, fridge and a wood fired bbq and a jacuzzi + comfy seating outside. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance, max 10 minutes. Andrea is a fantastic host who clearly cares about providing the best possible stay for her guests, which she did. Whenever we return to Tuscany, we will definitely make sure to stay here at Palaia again.

L’alloggio di Alessandro è ottimo per chi vuole staccare dal caos della città, si trova in una posizione tranquilla ed immersa nel verde ma comunque vicina ad un sacco di zone di interesse come Forte dei Marmi (20min), Marina di Carrara (10min) e così via… è un posto molto strategico, sopratutto se si hanno animali domestici con sè. La nostra bassottina - Focaccia - ha potuto scorrazzare liberamente nell’immenso giardino che si trova davanti all’alloggio - luogo in cui io ed il mio compagno abbiamo deciso ogni sera di far cena godendoci lo splendido tramonto 🌇 L’alloggio è bello, nuovo e dotato di una cucina davvero super rifornita (abbiamo anche potuto far la pizza!). La presenza di un condizionatore inoltre ci ha fatto molto piacere. Sicuramente ci torneremo, lo consigliamo fortemente 🫶🏼 NB Alessandro è stato sempre super disponibile nel rispondere ad ogni mia domanda e nel darmi preziosissimi consigli su cosa vedere/dove mangiare etc. Grazie Alessandro per l’infinita pazienza ?

How can we even put into words what an incredible experience this was! Antonella was kind and helpful, and her home is just stunning. She made us feel so at home even with our limited Italian. She prepared us a home cooked, four-course meal one night and it was absolutely delicious. She even gave us the leftovers so we could have them for breakfast the next day. The villa was breathtaking and in a perfect location to visit beautiful towns in Tuscany like Pienza, Montepulciano and San Gimignano. We especially loved the pool and visiting with the animals. This was a bucket list stay for us and worth every penny!

Akribisch renoviertes und liebevoll möbliertes altes Steinhaus mit 2 begrünten Terrassen am Rande eines Weilers, umgeben von Olivenhainen, völlig ruhig, keine weitere Infrastruktur. A/C mit Heizfunktion. Küche bestens ausgestattet (Geräte, Geschirr, Utensilien, Gewürze, Öl , Spüli etc.) Modernes Bad, ausreichend frische Handtücher. 2 Schlafzimmer (Durchgang) und Bad/WC im Obergeschoss, Wohnzimmer und Küche im 1. Stock. Im Untergeschoss separates kleines Appartement mit Bad/WC und Küche und Waschmaschine. Zur Begrüßung erwarteten uns Wein, Wasser und ein Frühstück. In Empoli (ca 10 min.) großes Einkaufszentrum, Geschäfte und Lokale. Wer antike Architektur und Möbel, Natur und Ruhe liebt wird sich wie wir sehr wohlfühlen! 🤩 Aufgrund mehrerer steiler Treppen für Kleinkinder und mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen nicht zu empfehlen. Villino Isotta è un alloggio che lascia senza fiato, super in ogni aspetto: posizione, pulizia, tutte le camere da letto sono climatizzate, le cucine ed i bagni ampiamente accessoriati, a pochi passi parcheggio gratuito e un caffè aperto fino a tarda sera. All'esterno un patio con vista sulle colline e poi il barbecue, e infine piscina dotata di ogni confort (doccia calda, vasca idromassaggio, lettini, wifi, ecc ecc). Ultimo ma non ultimo l'host Andrea, che ringrazio per l'incredibile e costante attenzione nei riguardi dei suoi ospiti dal primo istante (accogliendoci con un aperitivo di benvenuto) fino all'ultimo. Sempre presente ma mai invadente, sempre disponibile con consigli per rendere il soggiorno indimenticabile, una persona dal cuore immenso che gestisce con passione e serietà questo alloggio. E' stata dura tornare a casa, ci rivedremo sicuramente!

Piękna okolica, idealne miejsce wypadowe do zwiedzania Toskanii. Super miejsce dla rodzin z dziećmi (dostępne łóżeczko dla dzieci, a nawet barierka do łóżka dla dzieci które śpią z rodzicami 😉). Nicolo odpowiadał na wszystkie nasze potrzeby, a samo mieszkanie oddaje w pełni toskański klimat 😀 bardzo polecamy!

Sehr saubere und bestens eingerichtete Unterkunft. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sofort Zuhause gefühlt. Etwas abgelegen dafür sehr ruhig aber dennoch mit Auto schnell in Lucca. Danke an Co-Host Ingrid für den professionellen und netten check-in/out. Gerne wieder einmal 😀

We absolutely loved our stay at Bonnie’s rental in Lucca! The place was charming and comfortable, and Bonnie was incredibly accommodating, especially as our travel plans changed a couple of times. She was flexible with our schedule, communicated clearly and promptly, and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lucca! Thank you again Bonnie!

I feel at home staying at Martino & Nicola’s place! it was a last minute booking but turns out to be comfiest space! It’s super clean, modern, quiet & peaceful as someone who likes staying in like me it’s perfect, have every kitchen tools you can think of and have joy cooking during my stay! Nicola was handing over the key during check in very clear instructions to the private car park. If you ever find yourself in Pontedera or surrounding I highly recommend staying there! would definitely come back if I found myself there!

Cet endroit est juste magique. Nous y avons passé 9 jours de rêve au calme. Bianca et ses parents nous ont accueillis chaleureusement et nous ont fait visiter le lieu de résidence jouxté à leur belle maison, entourée de nature et en pleine campagne (une voiture est indispensable pour y accéder). La vue est magnifique, et le panorama vu de la piscine est encore plus beau que sur les photos. Le petit chemin pour accéder à la maison est un point de vue parfait pour les photos de coucher de soleil. Le lieu de résidence est tout simple mais soigné, et nous avons eu toute l'intimité voulue. Bianca et ses parents sont restés très discrets. Seul le chat venait parfois nous saluer sans nous importuner pour autant. Bianca nous a même aidés à effectuer une réservation dans l'un des merveilleux restaurants tout proches. Nous conseillerons ce lieu de résidence à nos amis qui veulent visiter la Toscane (Florence et Lucca tout proches).

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment whilst visiting Volterra and the surrounding Tuscan countryside. The apartment has a fantastic walk and it is super spacious and clean. The hosts were really helpful and we visited the wine bar and restaurants our lovely hosts suggested which were great. The roof terrace was lush! Definitely recommend

Unser Aufenthalt in Lari bei Susie & Paolo war toll. Die beiden waren tolle Gastgeber, sie waren immer erreichbar, sehr aufmerksam und super lieb. Das Appartement war super gemütlich, sehr gepflegt und mit allem was wir brauchten ausgestattet. Im Garten gibt es eine schöne Außenküche mit Grill und Pizzaofen, die wir beide genutzt haben. Es gibt viele Plätze im zum sitzen und chillen. Auch der Poobereich ist sehr schön angelegt und umzäunt. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und geben eine klare Weiterempfehlung 🫶

Wonderful location. Rooftop terrace is magical. Very helpful host. Great amenities near by; cafes, grocery, laundry, shopping. Easy walk to all the highlights of Lucca. Carlotta’s Rooftop apartment is an absolutely favorite AirBnB experience we have had. Lucca is a gem getaway.

The highlight of our tour around Italy, simply stunning. The outside area is the obvious highlight; the lovely pool overlooking iconic Tuscan scenery, but the inside is also perfect (didn’t think we’d fully use the two bathrooms but we did!!!). Matteo was a great host and couldn’t do enough for us - he even led the way in his car to help us find the restaurant he’d recommended when we arrived (one of our best meals of our holiday). A truly magical stay.

We've just returned from a week at Casa Claudio. It was perfect in every way. We had plenty of down time enjoying the garden and pool, with easy access to Pisa Centrale to visit Sienna,Florence, Lucca,Pisa and all the amazing cities. San Giuliano Terme has its own train station 30 mins walk from Casa Claudio, really easy to navigate using the train app. we found it comfortable to walk or cycle into town for shopping, train station or Pizzeria. Really no need to have a car. The accommodation we found amazing, so clean and modern. Rooms were vast and we loved the front porch, sitting each evening and morning listening to bird song while eating al fresco, so relaxing. The pool and sunloungers were fabulous, pool perfect temperature and so spotlessly, cleaned daily. we were left to enjoy all the amenities peacefully, yet our questions and enquiries were replied to within the hour. we felt well cared for, Claudio and Irene's hosting is perfect, even a lift to the airport on going home.
