A very nice discovery of this accommodation and very attentive and kind owners. a family available at all times. My 2-year-old daughter was entitled to her own small pool... before she surprised us and came to the big pool with us. 100% relaxing stay for my husband who really needed it. A peaceful and beautiful area. A pleasure to wake up every morning to go chat with the chickens and Sam the protective dog. The stay was most enjoyable, the house perfectly matching the description provided in the listing. The region is splendid, although the weather conditions were not favourable for long walks. We will certainly return when the sun is present. In addition, if you are travelling with your small dogs, a pleasant walk to consider is that of the chemin du lavoir in Montans, lasting about an hour to an hour and a half, ideal for both dogs and their owners.

A real favorite! The house is nestled in a green setting, the park is beautifully maintained, a real treat for the eyes and for the soul. The interior is tastefully decorated and above all very well equipped: everything is designed to make you feel good, like at home. The hosts are adorable, attentive and discreet. A charming little detail: the period flooring on the 1st floor likes to make its voice heard… a way of reminding you that the house has a history! 😉 We will be happy to return to this charming gem.

We absolutely loved our stay at Chateaux de Jean. It was a heavenly 4 days on this beautiful estate and the accommodation has everything we needed. It was a dream come true to stay in a chateaux in France.

We had a pleasant stay in this accommodation as well as with our two dogs, located in a quiet area off the street, ideal for total disconnection! (In any case the wifi/network are of the same opinion😉). Very well-equipped accommodation whether in the kitchen (it feels like home, nothing is missing!) or in the other rooms too! The jacuzzi and heated pool are a real plus that allowed us to enjoy it throughout the stay despite the sometimes capricious weather! In addition, the hosts are very friendly, welcoming and responsive when needed! In short, if you are visiting the area or want to discover it for a longer period, this is a good place! Looking forward to it 😉

Perfection doesn’t come easy, and I rarely overpraise — but I can say with absolute delight that this place exceeded every expectation... We were a group of 17 celebrating my 50th birthday, with 8 children aged 9–13 and 9 adults. The house accommodated us all with ease and comfort...The Room layout is a bit funny in places but worked fine for us.. We barely left the house, apart from the occasional shopping trip or vineyard visit. We cooked large meals daily using both the indoor and outdoor kitchens, both brilliantly equipped and practical. There were endless seating areas to gather, relax, eat, drink, and laugh while soaking in the stunning views and sunsets ... Highlights, Impressive facilities, ice machine and bar, heated saltwater pool, countless games for the kids (and adults!), tennis tournaments, hide-and-seek, ice baths beside the Jacuzzi, and evenings around the firepit toasting marshmallows 🔥 like luxury camping, with the soundtrack of nature all around. #whatatreat

We had a truly memorable stay at Karen and Laka’s beautiful home in the peaceful village of Varen, France. The location is ideal for exploring some of the most charming towns in the region - Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, Najac, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Albi, and more are all within easy reach. The property itself is thoughtfully appointed, with a lovely private patio garden that opens up to a breathtaking meadow. The swimming pool is perfectly positioned to take in sweeping views of the countryside, forest, and even the village church tower - it’s the kind of peaceful backdrop that invites deep relaxation. Karen and Laka are warm, welcoming hosts who instantly make you feel at home. They offered fantastic local tips and recommendations, clearly sharing a strong connection to their community. Their genuine hospitality made the experience feel less like a rental and more like a second home. 10/10 we’d love to return and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an authentic French break.

We had a great time. Marie and Nicolas are very welcoming hosts and give good advice for visits. They recommended an excellent restaurant of local cuisine in Albi (Les tables d'Éric et Hélène). The accommodation is large, very convenient and pleasant for a family stay of 13 including 5 children. We would recommend this listing.

Very good welcome, small welcome gift, with all the basic necessities. Ideally located apartment to visit the beautiful city of Albi. Although the traffic is quite heavy during the day, it is very quiet at night. We recommend this apartment, not far from the centre and pretty villages nearby.

The setting is simply idyllic. The property, located in the countryside, enjoys an environment, absolute tranquility, conducive to relaxation and reconnection with nature. Philippe's Zome is incredible, ideally located in an oak wood. There is nothing missing in this magical place, a change of scenery is guaranteed. Be careful when accessing the mezzanine, which is via a ladder, for people whose flexibility is no longer up to date. Recommended without moderation.

We had a great time at Charlotte & Laurent’s place. Their kindness and proactively helpful attitude, combined with the forest environment, created a very pleasant feeling across the stay. As part of a former farm, the property is a traditional stone building which has been recently renovated in a nice way, with a lot of thought given to making you feel comfortable and welcome. The house is very clean, well equipped, including a nice terrasse and a functioning wood stove in the living room. The hosts also raise goats, our kids could feed them and we could attend the milking session. The property is located in a beautiful countryside, and a good base for visiting the Sidobre area with all its picturesque rocks. Highly recommended.

Jennifer was the best host, making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The apt. is located near everything. And the people of Toulouse are a gracious, friendly people. If you don't speak French in Toulouse, dont worry. Most locals either speak English or Spanish so very easy to get around town. I highly recommend Jennifer's apt. for short or long stay in beautiful Toulouse.
