Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The Bothy, part of our 17th century Welsh farmhouse, offers a perfect base to explore Monmouthshire & the Brecon Beacons. Recently renovated, it has a spacious bedroom with a king size bed & bathroom with shower. Downstairs there’s a large living room w/sofabed and full kitchen. We provide freshly baked bread on arrival & home made marmalade & jam, butter, milk, tea & coffee. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

Cottage retreat by the seaside

This private cottage is in the heart of Clevedon with easy access to the Clevedon beach front from great coastal walks and to visit our Grade 1* pier. There are also some lovely local restaurants to choose from if you do not want to cook. Great for couples, business travellers and families (with kids who like sofa beds). There is a nice TV, WiFi and we are about to install a wood burner to compliment the air conditioning system for the cottage venting in the bedroom and living space.
