Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Burke

Ah, it's been so long since I've had such a genuine airBnb experience. In a world full of cookie-cutter mediocre short term rentals Heather's home is a warm hug. And she does give warm hugs :-). Charm, character, cozy. We might plan another visit just to devour her book collection. Heather was born for hospitality and you can bet that if her careers include librarian and flight attendant that she can make a friend out of almost anyone. Slept like a champ, can't wait to return.

Really conveniently placed near Craftsbury Outdoor Center, Hill Farmstead, and Blackbird Bistro. Groomed x-country ski trails right behind the house were lovely. Addie was very quick to respond and we didn’t have to worry about snow removal during a snow storm.

Karen was incredibly nice and very clear on check-in and check-out instructions. plow driver was there first thing every morning cleaning the driveway and the house is very cozy. We hope to come back at a warmer time and enjoy everything the place has to offer! Thank you to Karen for sharing her home and being a great guest!

Walter was an excellent host. The house location is amazing and on such a beautiful piece of property. Access to hiking trails, proximity to town and spectacular views made our stay very enjoyable this winter. We will definitely look to return next year! What a great area of VT.

We had a fabulous stay. The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with a modern farmhouse vibe, looks even better in person than in the photos. Full kitchen set up, would definitely recommend stocking up on groceries and cooking some meals there, but the restaurant across the street is also great. The house is in the woods set back from the road, so feels private without being remote. Very convenient to the Highland Lodge and all of the cross-country skiing trails. The house has an extensive library of books for grown-ups and kids, and lots of quality toys as well. Coming home to the house was the kids' favorite part of the vacation!

We had such a fantastic weekend! The condo has everything you need. It’s beautifully decorated and felt so comfortable from the second we arrived. The location couldn’t have been any better.

Josh was very welcoming & helpful. Location on bike trail is excellent, house easily found. Oh goodness, they provided such great snacks, coffee & breakfast items! Everything a hungry tired biker needs. The apartment was cozy & warm. Bed & linens very comfy. Truly wonderful restful space. Easy walk to area restaurants.

This house was perfect for our cross country skiing getaway! We skied on the lake and explored some local restaurants and thoroughly enjoyed the house. The fire was amazing and the house was perfect for our group.

Dave’s art gallery hostel has a lot of character and is a perfect budget friendly place to stay. We stayed there to ski in the area and it was perfect for that. Thanks! Also, very cute cats :)

We stayed for several weeks during the winter and had a great time. Florence and the property manager were both friendly and responsive to our questions. The house is well stocked, very comfortable and plenty warm even on very cold days. The view is spectacular! The house is situated such that we got to see the winter sunrise and sunset every day over the mountains! The dirt road is well maintained by the town in the winter though I would caution anyone visiting during mud season that the ruts can be quite impressive. Overall it was a great experience and we'd love to return!

A really nice alternative to a hotel setting. The cottage is private and great views of Jay Peak. Would stay again for sure.

We had the most magnificent view of Willoughby Notch. Carl needs to showcase that more. The place was very comfortable, and Carl was easily reachable if we had any questions.

This is the 4th year our group of 8 has stayed at Chandler House. We keep coming back because it’s such a great place: comfortable, nicely furnished and a short walk from the XC trails at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. It’s a luxury to have a private bath in each bedroom. We love the house and John was responsive to all of my queries.

Billy's condo was a fantastic place to stay if your plan is to enjoy Burke Mountain. The condo was clean, furnished, TVs in every room, and there was plenty of room for 8 of us. Cheers.

This condo was even nicer than the pictures portray. It is a great location, beautiful views and looks like an interior decorator did it over. Very nice. Everything was very easy…from booking, check-in, etc.

Another great stay at this lovely house for a long weekend in October. Perfectly situated with gorgeous views, it is such a pleasure to stay here with family. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, the setting is private but not isolated and Burke is a special place. Don’t miss Auntie Dee Dee’s Bakery and order 1 of everything before spending the day biking or hiking it off. Also always enjoy relaxing over a fire pit at the Orange Rind after an active day. Now we think of this house as “our” Burke place 😉 Thanks for sharing it.

Stay was great! Very clean and easy check in. Listing stated ski in/ out and it wasn't exactly clear how but just a 2 minute drive to mountain and very easy to hop on mountain biking trail at the end of condo parking lot during the biking season. It was a great stay and would definitely not hesitate to rent again in the future.
