This area is known for its many hiking and biking trails and is very close to the city for fascinating excursions in the cultural area. Our place is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers, and can also be rented for longer periods of time.

Welcome to Donderen, a lovely village located in the head of Drenthe. Near the cities of Groningen and Assen (both about 15 to 20 minutes drive), Eelde airport (about 10 minutes drive), the cozy villages of Norg and Zuidlaren, National Park Drentse AA and nature reserve Noordscheveld. Ideal base for cycling and hiking tours. The accommodation is less easily accessible by public transportation.

Chateau Weiland is a lovely light cottage with its own entrance plus views of the greenery. A good bed and a nice shower.
