Monthly Rentals in Bunduvowen Lough

We loved our stay at Elias Cottage! After our orginal Air BnB host cancelled with less than 48hours notice, Patricia was willing to accept a last minute booking from us for the cottage and we are so glad she did. It is a traditional cottage space thats clean, decorated beautifully with great fabrics and paintings, and the outside space feels private with has gorgeous views. We love to cook and the large kitchen dining space was well equipped. The short walk to meet Henri at Terrybaun Pottery is a must. His story of one of Ireland's oldest pottery studios is wonderful and we didn't leave his small shop empty handed! The local walks were lovely, lake was gorgeous, and we would love to be back someday. We visited with our 2 children, their uncle and our labrador and there was plenty of room. The 2 stoves (one up and one down) were a wonderful way to keep warm during a cold February week.

Great to be back here again! Such a lively cosy spot! Place was spotless and super close to town but just enough out to be abit of peace and quiet. Had the fire on which made it super cosy and was everything we needed for our trip away! Can’t wait to get back to the mews in the future.

Tom's place is a gem! Located in stunning rural Mayo, the views alone are worth the visit. It's the perfect spot if you want somewhere to get away from things and just relax with beautiful scenery and easy walks close by. Many of Mayo's main tourist attractions (Westport, Ceide Fields, Downpatrick Head, Foxford Wollen Mills) are all easily reached by car. The house itself is super, very clean and cosy. Well appointed with everything you need to make yourself feel at home. Tom is a wonderful host, very communicative and accommodating. Highly recommended.
