What can I say, if you’re lucky enough to run across Hidden Haven on Airbnb do not hesitate to book it. Words and pictures do not do it justice; it is everything and then some. From the cozy bed and furniture to the screened patio area and different spots throughout the property to just relax, it is magical. The top deck with the pool, hot tub and summer kitchen is great, especially the hot tub. The deck below is beautiful to just sit and listen to nature or some music while the fire burns, or take a walk. Inside is the perfect size, with everything you need to cook, relax and have fun with your love. Connect to the Apple TV and play some music on a sweet speaker setup. We didn’t want to leave and I’m sure we will be back, it was that great. Everything is clean and well taken care of. You can tell the owners spent a lot of time and thought in designing and creating a truly majestic retreat, no detail is overlooked. If you’re looking for a getaway this is the place to stay.

Title: A Perfect Stay—Highly Recommend! We had an amazing experience staying at James’ Off The Grid “OTG” Lodge! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was easy, and the space was spotless and beautifully designed. James was extremely welcoming. The OTG had all the amenities I needed, including a sauna, outdoor grills, cozy fireplace, bar area, and a well-stocked kitchen. The OTG was perfect for our large group of family and friends in town for my son and new daughter’s wedding. It is close to shopping areas with lots to do and several venues. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Dawsonville/Northern GA. Our only regret was we didn’t plan a long enough stay in the OTG to truly enough all the comforts it offers. I will definitely be returning on my next trip!

We enjoyed this cabin so much! The location to downtown and view were fantastic. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and the playroom was such a nice touch for the kids & fenced yard was wonderful for our dog! One thing worth mentioning if traveling with multiple families with kids - the master bedroom upstairs is a loft set up & there is no barrier to prevent noise. We had my son’s sound machine so it wasn’t a problem but you can definitely hear everything up there! We had such a special family vacation and can’t wait to come back one day!

We had a great time at this lovely and wonderfully secluded home on Lake Lanier. There is so much to do and would be a great place to bring kids, I'm already planning another trip with my niece and nephew. There's a mini putt putt course, arcade games, ping pong, board games, SUPs and kayaks! My favorite part was how quiet and private it is - the perfect spot for a little getaway. It's about a minute walk downhill from the house to the lake (might take a little longer for much older family members but I think still doable). There's obviously a little more noise and activity on the lake where you can actually see some neighbors but it was still mostly very peaceful and relaxing. The place itself was very clean and Amy was super helpful/responsive. My husband loved all the coffee options. Looking forward to another visit sometime!

Our family of 6 came to spend one night and get rest on our drive through for vacation to Florida. The cabin was just as described and had plenty of space for everyone. We got in really late then had a hard time finding food nearby so needed to drive about 37 minutes one way to get food then back at 1am. This was nothing negative on the cabin but I didn't realize how farthe cabin was from the main gate. We lived our stay and had deer right by the driveway. I would recommend coming and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

I rented this home for my husband’s 50th and boy did it not disappoint! The goal of our trip was to enjoy family time, get outdoors and hike, see wildlife, cozy up to a fire and watch movies and take in beautiful scenery. This place exceeded our expectations! The view was insane, the hike to the waterfall was exhilarating a little steep and challenging, but that’s when we all worked together as a family to accomplish the journey to the waterfall. My children 11 and 12 both got along playing foosball, building a fire and helping one another climb the mountain. We got to see the cutest black bear from the dining room! Joni was in communication with me whole time making sure we had all that we needed and there to answer any questions I had. The home was fully stocked and super cozy! Definitely coming back!

This was the perfect stay for our family and dogs. The kids loved having the pond to play in with the dogs and the canoe and kayaks were put to use. The frogs had us laughing at night. The scenery is stunning. My Husband and I enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch and evenings, listening to the creek and birds. It was the perfect family reset. We explored the surrounding area and had a blast. We ran into a local that said during Christmas its gorgeous so we might come back for another visit.

Arthur was responsive and kind. The cabin was beautiful and beds were super comfy! House had nice amenities and the outdoor space with the hot tub were great. The walk to the river was beautiful, but steep. We only walked down to the river once, as you can see it great and hear it from the back porch. Lots to do within a short driving distance. The downtown area was adorable with lots of activity and shops!

We had a wonderful stay and Chris was very helpful and accommodating. He worked to make our stay perfect for our family. The view from the deck was stunning and we even saw a mama bear with 2 cubs. The house and community offered a wide variety of activities and experiences and my adult children said they would be happy to come back sometime. It was just what our family needed.

Relaxing and refreshing!

Sugar Pine Cabin was a fantastic place to stay for our girls weekend in Dahlonega. Katherine was an ideal host. I will definitely recommend this spot to friends and family!

The property and cabin are absolutely stunning! You will need a 4X4 vehicle for the off-road driveway, which is about a 10 minute drive through the woods to the cabin. When Google Maps says You have arrived, you actually haven't. Keep going, 8 minutes in you'll pass a house on the right, then you'll see a vintage red caboose on the left. Turn right into the open silver farm gates. It's an adventure to get there, but it's so worth it! Joni is also very kind, responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here five years ago on our honeymoon, so we decided this year for our anniversary, we were going to stay here again. It was lovely, just like last time - the fireplace is so nice, the kitchen is quite well stocked for an AirBNB (we've seen some bad ones, and we've always been able to cook easily in this kitchen!), and there are plenty of extra blankets should you need them. Our son liked the game room downstairs, and there's plenty of room to let our dog play. There are DVDs and an HDMI cable. Had it been warmer, we'd have loved using the fire pit, too. Plenty of room, and the binder full of things to do is a nice touch (and so is the hiding game!). Do note: the grocery store is a solid twenty minutes away, so it's not a quick run down the street. Highly recommend planning on one big grocery run should you need to. There are usually miscellaneous basic spices and such in the cupboard. There is also not a first aid kit as far as we could tell. Highly recommend!

We recently stayed at Frank's place and had a wonderful time! Frank was so accommodating, which was especially great for us as a big family. We had five boys with us, all between the ages of 10 and 16, and they absolutely loved the game room downstairs. It kept them entertained for hours! The space was more than big enough for all of us, and it really met our needs. We also enjoyed hiking the trail in the back; we went twice! Frank even provided a walking stick for my husband, which was super helpful. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and I would definitely book again when my family decides to take another trip up that way. Highly recommend!

The cabin nestled in the trees of Big Canoe was just perfect for our visit to the area! My husband and I found it very peaceful and quiet with an amazing view of the mountains and lake. It is exactly as described and the host was responsive to each question/request we had. We will be recommending it to friends who travel that way frequently.

The view was amazing!!!!! The hosts have great communication skills. They were very attentive. The home is exactly as pictured. This home had everything my family and I needed. It was the perfect getaway!!! Very spacious.

This tree house wellness resort was the perfect romantic getaway location. It’s a beautiful location with the perfect amount of privacy. My wife and I didn’t even want to the leave the house. When we did decide to leave there were incredible restaurants and locations within 30mins-1hr away. One spot especially nearby is Community Brew & Tap which is INCREDIBLE. If you stay here go to that restaurant it is to die for. Overall incredible stay and our super host Abby was incredible with her quick responses and thorough information throughout the stay. It was my wife and I’s honeymoon and she even helped me set it up so there was a romantic surprise for my wife when we got there (Wine, candles, flowers and chocolate). Definitely recommend this AirBnb and would absolutely come back.

It doesn't happen often, but the photos of this place don't do it justice. The house is immaculate and has a nostalgic, 90's Ralph Lauren feel to it while doing a great job adding modern touches with fixtures and art. My daughter loved sleeping in the loft "like Laura Ingalls Wilder." We felt right at home and loved that we could pull the boat up to their private dock, albeit very carefully, since it's tucked away. A very short walk through the woods and a healthy amount of stairs, but we really enjoyed the seclusion. We encountered a major thunderstorm that threw out power and closed roads out of the neighborhood, and Tina was extremely responsive late at night and early the next morning. She was extremely accommodating to us through the situation. Additionally, we all slept extremely well even without power. The house stayed cool inside and was not musty. We will definitely be back and hopefully be able to stay longer!

We loved our stay. The home was roomy, nicely decorated, clean, comfortable and had all we needed. The wrap around porch was so relaxing and surrounded by a beautiful forest of trees and a creek. It felt like we were in the woods but we were just minutes from restaurants, shopping, hiking and the lake. We enjoy being able to go for walks in the morning and the area was perfect for that. We would definitely stay here again.
