'Holly Berry' is a cosy holiday hideaway in the picturesque Nottinghamshire village of Wellow. Please note that Holly Berry is only bookable for a maximum of two adults. It is equipped with kitchenette (larder fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster but no oven or hob), shower/washroom, small sofa, mezzanine level with double mattress, wood burning stove, television and private outdoor seating area with bike lock-up. Two excellent village pubs within 100 yards serving delicious home-cooked meals.

18th century lock keepers cottage

Relax in this lovingly restored stone built country cottage, to be found at the end of a,resident only, tarmaced tow path. Situated on its own private island, alongside the Chesterfield canal, beside a working lock. The front faces the lock with its comings and goings of canal boats. Perhaps a dozen boats will pass through in a day, all with a friendly crew and a story to tell of their journey. A few private moorings too. The rear of the property looks out to an uninterrupted rural landscape.

Sleepover with Miniature horse Basil

Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.
