The most important thing: After almost 100 m you are on the beautiful sandy beach of Salavaux. There you can swim, splash around on the shallow shore, play beach volleyball or rent a SUP, kayak and pedalo. Rental options for larger boats at the Avanches campsite. If you don't feel like cooking, you will find a snack bar on the beach and a small restaurant directly on the lake. Very close to the house is also the restaurant Equinoxe, a little further away from the campsite of Avenches.

Chevroux is a popular resort in the canton of Vaud in the French-speaking part of Switzerland with a campsite and around 100 weekend and holiday cottages near the lake. It has a sports marina with over 1000 berths. Lake Neuchâtel can be easily reached on foot in 8 minutes and by bike in 5 minutes.
