It is also ideal as a base for those wishing to visit the many tourist resorts in the area: Orta San Giulio, Lake Maggiore with Stresa and the Borromean Islands, Lake Mergozzo, the Ossola Valley, the Strona Valley, Valsesia and many others. A wonderful view from the large windows and a special tranquility for those in search of peace, warmth and relaxation. The furniture is very nice: wood above all, but also more lively colors, and modern comforts. Quiet excursions, both on snowshoes or ski.

"La Casa dell 'Arco" takes its name from the entrance arch, a typical element of the architecture of Frassinetto, which characterizes this historic house. Its oldest nucleus presumably dates back to the 13th – 14th century. The unit is made up of three rooms with attention to detail to rediscover the warm atmosphere of the alpine houses. The living room with a sofa/bed and fireplace precedes the kitchen and to complete a beautiful room with shower and a comfortable and equipped bathroom.

Excellent starting point for hiking, paragliding and walking.

NATURE and RELAXATION AT THE FOOT OF THE MATTERHORN

In the upper Valtournenche, at the foot of the Matterhorn, surrounded by herds of grazing cows in summer and white snow in the winter months, my wife Enrica and I will be happy to welcome our guests to our apartment. Close to the towns of Valtournenche and Cervinia (about 3 km) but still isolated from the chaos, it is the ideal place to relax, observe enchanting views, listen to the silence of the mountain, play sports and take fantastic walks starting right from the house!

Our home, nestled among the trees, rests in peaceful seclusion a couple of kilometers from the nearest village. We are Riccardo, Cristina, Lorenzo, Bianca and Alice. We chose to come here, into the woods, to begin living a simple yet fulfilling life, learning from nature. We offer you an attic loft carefully renovated by Riccardo, with a double bed and a sofa bed (both beneath skylights), a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a wide view over the valley.

Treat yourself to a relaxing weekend. Our attic, overlooking the valley, has been recently renovated and is located in a quiet area on the edge of the woods in the Gran Paradiso National Park. Ideal for summer and winter vacations, including hiking, canyoning, mountain biking, climbing, and trekking. A small spa has been recently built for the exclusive use of our guests with a separate fee for those who want to use it.
