This site was perfect for what we needed. The area was walkable to where we wanted to go, and there were major roads that led through town and to the Interstates for ease of access to all of the areas around that we wanted to go. The name of the place is the Hidden Gem, and this site most definitely was that. The home was spotlessly clean with plenty of extra blankets and dishes for our needs. Everything about this home was what we needed and wanted. We have talked about coming back to Morgantown for a weekend visit, and if we do, this will be the first place we check to see if it is available.

We had a great stay overall! What an awesome experience to stay in an treehouse. There were a lot of amenities, snacks, water, towels, even extra toiletries and flashlights. everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. The host was kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our visit, which we really appreciated. One thing to be aware of is that there are dogs on the property (and possibly nearby as well) that tend to bark throughout the night, including during the early morning hours. The host did mention that the dogs bark, but it ended up being a bit more disruptive than we expected for our two nights. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs or sleep headphones just in case. That said, we still enjoyed our stay and felt very well taken care of!

Jay’s cabin in the woods is an excellent place to stay if visiting the area. The cabin was super clean, peaceful, and stocked with everything we needed. We even saw that some games/kid friendly amenities were left for us making this the perfect stay for people of all ages. We appreciated how spacious it was and the extra linens provided ensured our comfort for our entire stay. We would highly recommend jays place and would be happy to stay again!

Morgantown/Cheat Lake Gem!

We stayed here for my son’s graduation at WVU. It’s about 15-20 min from campus. What stood out most about this place is how clean and well stocked the condo was. The furnishings were very comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. About a 5 min drive is a nice botanical garden to enjoy nice walks. Claudette was very proactive with communication and had all the details in the listing to make entry, WIFI connection, etc very easy. Highly recommend!
