Tom is a gentleman. Thoughtful, kind, and he clearly has great taste for how to furnish a home in order to make it practical and comfortable for guests. Tom reached out to us ahead of our stay with a friendly welcome and clear instructions for how to find his place. He met us there at the agreed check-in time and showed us around, which was a nice, thoughtful touch that we both appreciated. He lives locally, and told us not to hesitate to give him a shout if we needed anything. We didn't need to though; everything we needed was right there, including a well equipped kitchen, and also a spacious bath and shower room with lashings of hot water. The location is perfect. Right on the water's edge. Stunning views from most rooms. I found it very relaxing, leaning against the garden wall with a cuppa, watching the Bodinnick chain ferry (which stops at bedtime and starts again when its time to get up). Its a five-minute walk into Fowey. Delightful. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location - close to Hay town centre and the Wye, and a comfortable, well-stocked home for a weekend away. Spacious and clean throughout. Appreciated the provision of a parking space. Would recommend - a great stay.

Brilliant location, right in the heart of Nantwich, this wonderful old British village/ town we love the church and it's bells. Superb accommodation with everything for a great, easy stay and explore the surrounds by car and bicycle. Host was kind enough to turn on the heating, just a little, as the British summer turned down the heat during our stay!! We'll be back next year!

Matthew’s place is the upper end of 5*. Pristine presentation, crisp linen, blankets and pillows. This is a boutique home. Matthew’s communication was regular, and with the right information at the right time. This is what you need to know now, and then next and next. Anyone who has not been to the New Forest, it is an eye opener. Absolutely stunning. Bieulieu is stunning with great walks and the New Forest is cycling Mecca!

Excellent place to stay in Scarborough. Great location, only 5 minutes from the beach. The house was lovely and the beds were so comfy. Caroline and Jon were great hosts and were very prompt in replying to any queries. Would highly recommend, and would stay again.

Incredible location without being too loud with the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. We were able to walk all over the city from the apartment. Very comfortable space! Was a little tricky to unload luggage, and lug up the outdoor and indoor stairs… and the lock/unlock doors are a bit confusing. However, Francis was incredibly responsive and has an excellent guidebook that gives instructions on everything from the gate to the door to the shower. Highly recommend!

A stunning house - very memorable! We had 4 adults and 2 kids there for a week - loads of space for everyone. Appreciated all the thoughtful touches - from the lovely welcome from Tadgh, to having lots of loo paper, shower gel, tea etc! A great location to explore Cork city and further afield. Highly recommend.

Ciara was great to deal with. The cottage was very cute and was just what we expected. Everyone we dealt with was very kind and helpful. Town is tiny but is very walkable and Ciara had lots of suggestions for things to do

A wonderful house set right in the centre of Woodstock. The property is presented to a high standard with all the little touches that you'd expect. It really is home from home. Laura was excellent at responding to any questions I had and made some great recommendations. Thank you for a fabulous few days!

Such a beautiful, quiet and cosy space tucked away in a great location in the old town. I would highly recommend staying here! We had a wonderful time, the bed was super comfy, the kitchen well equipped and the whole space was really welcoming, homely and decorated to a really high level. We could walk to everywhere we wanted to see and there were lots of lovely little restaurants and bars at the end of the road. Thank you!

We loved staying at Sheila’s place - the many extras were perfect: a bottle of prosecco to celebrate our Winchester holiday, the tea/coffee/milk/biscuits/crisps provided, tips on local sites/restaurants, etc.. Super comfortable beds, great bathrooms, nicely appointed living and dining room and a kitchen that has everything one would want! Highly recommended!!

Just beautiful! this was our second visit and it only gets better each time! The place is spotless (10/10 for cleanliness) in a perfect location (10/10) and Lisa is an outstanding host (10/10). This time around, we explored more of the area and absolutely loved Langland Bay, such a lovely beach with stunning sea views. We had breakfast every day at The Lighthouse, their scanning system is super efficient, and the food is fantastic. Without a shadow of a doubt, if you're visiting The Mumbles, you should definitely check in with Lisa. Highly recommended! Also thanks again for the cupcakes! We loved them!

My Partner and I had a great stay at Neil’s place, it was located in a lovely area of Newcastle and extremely close to the city centre so everything is within walking distance. Neil provided clear instructions to get into the property and is very quick to respond if you have any queries. Will most certainly be rebooking the next time we’re in Newcastle.

Fabulous location, spacious, and great for our large group!

We had a wonderful stay at The Haywood, it’s beautifully furnished and looks like an interior designer has been in! Lots of brilliant amenities like the fire and stunning huge bath with so many little thoughtful touches too like a yoga mat, umbrella and tote bag. The bed was really comfy, the bathroom was gorgeous and so stylish, the shower was piping hot and I loved the blue plaster walls! There are a few steps but they’re not too steep or narrow, it’s perfect for 2 people and our stay felt like a luxurious treat. Everything worked perfectly, the space is used super efficiently and the wine and crisps were a lovely welcome. The local information was very helpful to find the coffee shops just a few minutes walk away as it’s so close to the centre of town, which is so lovely. Anya was really helpful too, nothing was too much trouble, we’d definitely there stay again. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lindsay’s place in Sligo. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is gorgeous! Communications were excellent. The apartment is just a short walk to lovely shops and restaurants. Knocknarea and Strandhill are just a few miles drive. We highly recommend for your visit to Sligo and the surrounding area.

We had a wonderful school friends’ reunion at Amanda’s place. The house was warm and clean and we had everything we needed. The biscuits and crisps on arrival were appreciated. The weather was mixed but we were able to use the lovely outdoor area for pre-dinner drinks. It was very convenient to all local amenities and we didn’t need to move the car once. It would also be a good base for exploring the Ards peninsula. Thank you Amanda.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aeronbelle where Helen has thought of everything you could possibly need, with lots of thoughtful extras such as delicious Welsh cakes and homemade marmalade. The garden at the rear is a sun trap and a delightful place to relax with a glass of wine or tipple of choice. The house itself is beautifully proportioned, cozy and comfortable, and stylishly decorated. Independent shops and eateries are a short walk away. We highly recommend Aeronbelle and would love to return some time. Diolch i chi’ch dau, Helen & Wyn.

We went to Holdan House to celebrate my 60th. We had our three kids and their partners for the first part of the week and friends joined us for the second half. The house delivered, giving a luxury experience for us all to enjoy. The only downside was the noise from the traffic on the road. We visited the Italian restaurant, San Marzano twice and thoroughly enjoyed both times. Louisa was very helpful when we needed beds changed and the bathrooms cleaned after the kids had left. Places to visit, The Farmers Dog and Burford garden centre. Golf enjoyed at Burford golf club. The house is a good location as a base to visit other areas in the Cotswolds.

We had a fantastic stay in Mary's place with our children. The house was clean, comfortable and had every possible piece of equipment you could ask for in the kitchen. It felt like a home away from home. Mary had left some treats for the kids and some biscuits as well as milk and condiments. The house is about 2 minutes from the centre of town by car and the frot of the house looks out onto the bay. When we arrived an open fire was ready for us to light when we needed it. Mary was so helpful and lovely and a perfect host. We would love to visit again in the future.

What an amazing stay! The house is decorated beautifully and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect location in Deal. Ian's communication was great and the check-in couldn't have been easier. Will definitely be staying here again. Note that the shower situation isn't ideal for 6 people (1 shower, 2 baths with shower heads) but we made it work.

This is probably the best air b&b i have ever stayed in. absolutely immaculate, spotlessly clean, the garden was amazing, . The whole thing was an amazing experience. I wanted to pre book this place as I am going to be in Chester once a month for the next 15 months, but alas it's already booked well in advance. This place stands head and shoulders above a lot of places. Thank you Mark.
