Beolary was built in 2015 and is sited in the quiet village of North Connel, just 5 miles from the bustling seaside town of Oban. The house is perfectly situated to explore Argyll and the Highlands and Islands.There are 5 bedrooms (2 of which are en-suite), a family bathroom and a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area. A porch, and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, a large enclosed garden and patio and ample parking. The kitchen is fully equipped and all linen and towels are included. The house is laid out over 2 floors, the ground floor is comprised of front entrance porch and spacious hallway, leading on to the large living area with tv, sofas and also a sofa bed which could sleep a further 2 people. The dining table seats 8, there is also a foldaway dining table which could seat another 4 people and the breakfast bar which sits 3. The kitchen is fully equipped with ample crockery etc to cater for 12+ people, induction hob, double oven, microwave, fridge freezer, tassimo coffee machine. The utility room housing the washing machine and tumble dryer and back door are just off the kitchen and also entry to the ground floor bathroom which also acts as an en-suite to bedroom number 5. This room has a king size bed which sleeps 2 people and could be suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility issues. Upstairs consists of a family bathroom with bath and over bath shower and 4 bedrooms. Room 1 (sleeps 3) This room comprises of 1 king size bed and a single bed. There is an en-suite shower room with fabulous views to the Mull and Morvern hills. Room 2 (sleeps 1) This small bedroom has 1 single bed. Room 3 (sleeps 2) This room has 2 single beds Room 4 (sleeps 2) This room has 1 double bed The enclosed Garden and patio are to the side of the house accessed from the living area by 2 sets of patio doors. There is patio furniture and also a charcoal barbecue for your use. The house is situated next door to the Lochnell Arms hotel which has a fabulous restaurant and lounge bar which also offers food to takeaway. There are 2 further hotels with restaurants within walking distance in Connel village ( across the bridge) which also has the village shop and post office. Another shop is situated in the village of Benderloch which is around 2 miles away but an easy walk or cycle along the cycle path which starts across the road from the house. Oban which has dozens of bars, restaurants supermarkets etc is just a 10 minute drive away. There is also a regular bus service between the town and village with the bus stop located across the road from the house. This would make a great base for exploring much of Scotland. We are around 2.5 - 3 hours drive from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth, Dundee, Inverness. From Oban you can catch ferries to visit the Islands of Mull, Lismore, Tiree, Coll, Colonsay, Barra and Uist. Tarbert is around 1.5 hours drive where you can catch ferries to Islay and Jura Glen Coe is around 40 minutes drive, Inveraray & Fort William about 1 hour. Mallaig (the ferry to Skye) around 2 hours. The Isle of Skye bridge is about 2.5 - 3 hours drive.
