Tower holiday rentals in British Isles

The place is amazing! This is a perfect airbnb for a peaceful and memorable weekend with a company. The interior of the house is very stylish and fresh. It includes everything you need. Especially, the kitchen. There is EVERYTHING you need for cooking! Also there is everything for you to create a cozy atmosphere: a lot of speakers in every room, smart lights and blinds, big projector. Bedrooms and the living room are placed on the two top floors so you’ll get beautiful views of the neighbourhood. However, be ready to climb few flights to get there from the ground level. There is a small town Ware in just 10 mins drive. In case you want to buy some food or arrange a lunch/dinner. However, it was very handy to cook everything by ourselves. Matthew is a great host! He was very responsive and help to resolve all the questions we had effectively. Highly recommend to choose this place for your next trip!

We loved our stay at the Hexagon. It was peaceful, and such an unusual place. We found the radar tower and all the history fascinating. The views of the sunrise were spectacular and the walks along the coast with all the wildlife were hard to leave behind. We would love to come back and could have stayed for longer.

We had the most wonderful weekend staying at the Old Tower. The house is absolutely stunning and the gardens beautifully maintained. Francesca went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, providing us with info on pubs/walks etc Everything was beautifully clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. Would 100% recommend. A beautiful stay to explore the forest of dean. exactly as shown in photos, impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Alex made our stay seamless and relaxing, he resolved some issues we were having with WiFi too. We hope to come back again!

Comments from our stay (parents with adult kids): We loved it! Living history, Really freaking cool, Comfortable beds. Quite spacious. Cozy, Must have good knees! Neighbouring cows herded home in the evenings, A treat to watch birds from the battlements, (Metallic sounds referenced earlier likely are radiators) Easy communication and good instructions from hosts. State of the architecture 1400’s, updated to beautifully habitable in the 2000’s. Thank you for allowing us the share a slice of your local history. Each of us truly enjoyed staying here.

This was one of the most unusual places I’ve ever stayed in. We did have a few walkers come up from Chatsworth and admire the view but mainly we were in splendid isolation. Walking around the woods and admiring the Aqueduct in the evening was quite magical; it felt as though we had the whole place to ourselves. The tower itself is an amazing survival from Tudor times and has been modernised sympathetically. The round shower was a favourite feature. The nearby farm shop was very good with a wide range of good quality food. It did snow whilst we were there but Sandra from Chatsworth Cottages kept in touch and made sure we were fine which was much appreciated. Altogether I would recommend the tower for anyone who wants to stay somewhere unusual and highly memorable. One word of caution though there is a spiral staircase connecting the floors so the building is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

All I can say is wow! What an incredible place and if you are looking for a hideaway stay in a peaceful setting - this is the place! Hosts are attentive, place was beautifully presented and even left Prosecco and some lovely crisps! Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable 🥰

Unique place to stay - spectacular building and breathtaking views. Spacious and relaxing living/eating/cooking level with 360 degree floor to ceiling glass. Bedrooms and en-suites roomy and immaculately presented - showers particularly good. Classy decor throughout felt luxurious but comfortable and homely at the same time. Local farm shops are amazing and there’s plenty to do within half an hour’s drive eg Leeds Armories, National Mining Museum and Yorkshire Sculpture Park. We mixed sightseeing with chilling in the house to enjoy the best of both - would highly recommend !

Amazing stay, probably the highlight of our 10 day family vacation through Ireland. Local people amazing, great host, absolutely one of a kind, once in a lifetime kind of experience!
