Our stay at Dora’s Cottage was absolutely delightful — peaceful, comfortable, and filled with the warm charm of Barbados. The cottage is nestled in a quiet, safe neighborhood, making it the perfect retreat to relax and recharge, while still being conveniently close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The space was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to soft linens. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area — ideal for morning coffee and unwinding after a day of exploring the island. Corey was a fantastic host — welcoming, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. His hospitality truly made the experience feel personal and memorable. Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

The list of amazing things I could say about Leah and Sherry and their beautiful home is endless. They treated us like family and helped us in unimaginable ways, from arranging transportation and tours, to recommending activities and restaurants. They even left us some surprise fruit to enjoy, which we greatly appreciated. (The mangos were the best we ever tasted!) Their home was perfect for us and had everything we needed. It was peaceful, clean and comfortable. Also, the location could not be beat. The beach, supermarket, local restaurants and bus stop are all within walking distance. Overall, our experience exceeded all expectations and we highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone seeking comfort, convenience and outstanding hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Paolo was extremely helpful and friendly with great recommendations. The house is on a cute gated street across the street from a great surfing spot. Walking distance to Miami Beach which is a pleasant beach with a ton of shade trees. Oistins local fishing village is close enough to walk. For more lively area a quick jaunt to Rockley beach by car. For us a quiet walk to the surf and beach was ideal. Paolo must be one of the friendliest hosts we’ve had! The house was spacious and serene. Kitchen had all the necessary items. Can’t wait to return!

From the day we booked, all seemed very easy, which is what you want. Great communication throughout stay, and everything we needed for our stay for the week👍👍

We had a great stay at Tropical Escape. Rodney’s apartment is located in a nice residential area within a very short walk to Heywoods beach and also to Speightstown and its attractions. The apartment is very well equipped, with a powerful shower, ceiling fans , fast internet and a comfortable living area. Air conditioner is available in the bedroom at an extra cost, but we found we didn’t need it as fans are provided. The kitchen has all you need to prepare a meal- includes a blender, coffee maker, gas cooker and a decent sized fridge. Rodney is a great host- responsive, proactive and knowledgeable He made us feel very welcome. The next time we’re looking for somewhere to stay in the area we’ll definitely book again.

Ken’s place met our expectations, - every room was perfectly laid out with all necessities required for convenience and comfort, We were relaxed and did not lack in any way for household utilities/utensils to improve our vacation. Thank you Ken for your hospitality.

We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Canoa. With 6 of us there was plenty of space and we loved hanging out in the garden and on the veranda. We especially enjoyed the wildlife in the garden and the direct beach access. The kitchen was great, fully equipped and clean. Chris was a great host and swiftly responded to any questions we had. Having never visited Barbados before we could not have asked for more. La Cabane, the closest restaurant to La Canoa, serves the best food in a perfect location. (walking distance) We loved being by the harbour and rum distillery, there was something quite unique about this location. I would recommend hiring a car if you are staying here although we used the buses, we also explored further afield to the East and South coast Thank you Chris for providing such a wonderful place to stay in Barbados.

Vuemont is secluded and peaceful with good amenities and really responsive staff. (We didn't want for anything, but Alicia checked in regularly to make sure we had all we needed and sent us holiday/restaurant tips which was lovely, making us feel more like family friends than random guests.) The apartment was really spacious and light and had everything we needed to relax, cook for ourselves and enjoy our holiday. The complex is really secure with 24hr staff, it is a little remote which makes lovely for a quiet restful time, but a short drive away from St Peters and attractions like the nature reserve and Haymans Market. Our favourite part was the lovely deck area that overlooked the pool and gardens. A great place to spend the evening with a rum cocktail! I would highly recommend and definitely come again. It could easily become a home from home......

I didn't want to leave :'( . Anna's home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had no issues and the home was fully equipped with everything we may have needed. It's close enough to take a morning stroll to the beautiful Miami beach and also a short drive away from the vibesy Oistins Fish Market. Definitely coming again. Thank you Anna for making our first travel experience so awesome.

Host was proactive with check in instructions, restaurant recommendations, beach club access, beach access, walkable, clean, let us know things to do and see that were walkable, and grocery store nearby. Very responsive. Highly recommend!

We had the best stay at Mariam’s. The house is beautiful - the photos really don’t do it justice. Mariam went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and was so quick to communicate. The location was great - close to everything we needed whilst still feeling private and quiet. Sometimes by the pool we could hear the sounds of the neighbourhood, but we were never disturbed. We did enjoy the company of a very friendly cat, who would sometimes visit while we were by the pool. Amanda and Desmond were on hand and were brilliant. One evening the gas bottle of the BBQ ran out during cooking. However Mariam had this rectified by the time we even awoke the next morning. We’ll definitely be back - it’s a beautiful house. Thank you!

We had a lovely week at Lorraine's place. We really liked the neighbourhood. Dover beach is a short walk away. We also got the bus to Miami beach which isn't far. You don't need a car unless you want to explore the island. We hired a car for two days so we could visit other places. Otherwise we stayed local. The restaurant recommendations were helpful and we had a lovely meal at the Italian place Lorraine suggested. It's easy to walk to St. Lawrence Gap where there are lots of bars and restaurants. We all loved the pool which is a good size and the kids loved the daily visits from the monkeys. The bungalow is spacious and has everything you need. Would highly recommend.

If you are considering Leslee Ann's place, let this be your sign to BOOK IT. Everything from the prime location, proximity to airport, on the local bus route which we were adventurous and used often to go to Oistins (8 minute ride), and the overall beautiful, well decorated and pristine condo itself. It was like being at home. Centrally located near St. Lawrence Gap where you can find great restaurants and Dover Beach. The condo... Each room has its own AC and we needed it after a long day touring the island. The home has everything you can think of, games, cable, internet, and washer and dryer!! We had enough space to have our own individual bathrooms and dressing areas. I appreciated the space. There's a balcony off of the main bedroom which gave an extra romantic touch. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up!! I give it a 100/10. Leslee Ann was prompt in responding to any questions, she provided useful recommendations, an overall excellent host. We will be back here soon!

Quiet, beautiful spot on the south end of the island. Great, private view of the beach and mangroves from sprawling gardens. Occasional monkey visitors. Practical kitchen with needed equipment. Good ac in bedrooms. Giant sliding door for the main room. Strong WiFi in office and most of house and immediate deck (occasionally unstable but think that’s island issue). 15 min to grocery store. Most higher end restaurants and resort beaches on northwest coast 30 min+. Short walk down to beach - rough not swimmable but beautiful. Host was the most helpful we’ve ever had with Airbnb. Helped with all kinds of activity / reservations (for a nominal fee).

We had a great time at Jacqueline's place. The place is comfortable and peaceful at a great location near the sea. There garden is nice with shade from the trees and we enjoyed the ocean view from the sofa. Very friendly and helpful host. It is recommended to have a rental car to move around, because the place is not close to the popular beaches, supermarkets and markets. Overall it is a great place to stay!

If you’re looking to have a relaxing vacation away from the crowds and bustling activity of busier parts of the island, Carl’s place is a great choice. Waking up to the beautiful ocean view from the balcony, watching the sunsets in the evening, and going to sleep to the sound of the waves were unbeatable experiences. We had everything we needed, all of our activities were easily accessible by rental car, and there are great food options not far from the location. Carl is a friendly and responsive host. He would check on us occasionally during our week long stay to ensure that all was well, gave local recommendations, and even dropped off snacks and water. Barbados was a lovely experience and one of my favorite trips so far, I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit in the future!

We had a wonderful months stay in Elizabeth's cottage. We felt at home as soon as we stepped inside. The kitchen was very well equipped. Super comfy beds and lovely bed linen and plenty of towels. It was extremely clean and we loved the outside space. The locals were so friendly and we always felt safe. Elizabeth's Dad, Tommy was near if needed and Heather did a wonderful job cleaning each week. Had some great chats ! Missing the sunshine and having breakfast on the veranda. You can see the sea from the cottage and be swimming in 5 minutes! There is a great fish market at the end of the road where the fish is so fresh. We visited last year and stayed in a hotel but staying in a cottage for us was so much more enjoyable. We did hire a car as we wanted to explore the island but it's not a necessity. Thank you, Elizabeth, would love to return in the future.

We had an absolutely amazing stay in April 2025! This place is truly a gem, featuring a beautiful pool and a private, cozy jetty beach. You can lay down on your bed and watch and smell the ocean through the floor-to-ceiling open (if you wish) window. It had everything we could possibly need — we didn’t have to ask for anything extra. One standout detail (especially for travelers who love to stay organized): there was plenty of storage space for clothes and an enormous number of hangers — truly a dream for any woman on vacation! The location is also unbeatable — right in the heart of the island, surrounded by great bars and restaurants. You don’t need to drive anywhere (but if yiu do they have free parking spot, bus and taxis just next to the place); you can just walk and enjoy everything the area has to offer. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. Honestly, it’s hard to believe a place like this exists! We are so grateful for this experience!

We (Gf and I), had a blast in BGI and staying at Anique’s crib felt like home. Clutter free, clean bathroom with towels, bath gel and shampoo. Living room was squeaky clean with decent furniture and large TV, except no AC in the living room but the large ceiling fan did the magic. The rooms were very clean and tons of extra bedding sheets and towels in the closet. We will return to Anique’s crib because it hidden in a beauty spot of BGI and very very safe with restaurant/super market and urgent care clinic literally 3 mins walk.

I liked the apartment, it was stylish, clean, new. Comfortable bed and pillows, clean towels. For me it was importmant that apartment was very close to Garfield sport complex. Nikita is a good host, fast responding and friendly. I recommend this apartment.

I would recommend this place to anyone. The place and garden were more than beautiful. Down the stairs is a private beach, the garden is kept up, the pool is huge the inside of the home is comfortable. The host Paul was amazing, very friendly and communicated well throughout. The location is about 15-20 from the well known restaurants, however locally there is still a nice restaurant nearby.
