Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Brewster County

Home was easy to find, and instructions to check in were clear and easy. The home is up on a hill with a great view of Alpine and beyond. It was very peaceful and quiet. I was traveling with my brother who also built his own home, so he really appreciated how special the home is and felt very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

She was very responsive to our questions and also she allowed us to check in earlier that really helped us.

James home is BEAUTIFUL!! Everything you would need he has available for you. His outdoor patio is awesome!! so nice to have coffee and relax and look at the stars. Within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and small shops. Will definately stay there again when I come back to Marathon

Really exceptionally lovely house! Great access and nice neighborhood. My husband worried that the trains passing relatively nearby might awaken him, but the adobe walls basically STOPPED the sound. BEAUTIFUL inside and pleasant outside. I especially LOVE the wall paintings! Very comfortable, exceptionally clean, and delightful. I really plan to try FIRST to get this place the next time I stay overnight in Alpine!

April was wonderful & helpful when asking about Alpine. Had a great time. Place was comfortable and spacious for our family of 4. It was close to downtown. Will definitely stay again when we come back to visit.

Clean, spacious and lovely place, with plenty of amenities and essentials from cooking supplies to toiletries to linen all neatly organized for use. The neighbourhood is pretty quiet and peaceful, and we had a great time at the Big Bend National Park knowing that there was a comfortable home base to return to Trichia was pretty responsive, and friendly as well! Would definitely recommend.

The Big Bend Homestead was absolutely everything we didn’t know we needed. The property was breathtaking, the interior was exceptional designed to make you feel like this is where you need to be. The vinyl player, incense and gorgeous shower were a few of my favorite things! The homestead is a romantic, peaceful home away from home! We have already recommended it to our friends! The host was extremely informative, communicative and kind! Thank you so much for sharing this slice of heaven with us! ✨

We stayed in the Proprietor's Casita for four nights. It is an extraordinarily special place -- well designed, comfortable, private, with stunning views of the desert. We were lucky enough to be there in early April when the desert was in full bloom.

Beautiful remote location. So peaceful. Alex sent us turn by turn directions that were accurate and so helpful. The accommodations were exactly what was listed and the tent/outhouse were perfect for us as campers who don’t and haven’t typically stayed in such remote places. When I had an emergency with my car I text Alex (on Easter Sunday, no less) and he responded quickly and was incredibly kind and helpful which in turn got us back on the road and home safely. I am so thankful for his help.

Great couple of RVs to stay in with a larger group! About 1 hour from Big Bend National Park makes for great convenience. Very nice to have WiFi and hot water

The Earthbag home was absolutely incredible! Jamie did a phenomenal job creating this off-grid paradise. It was so well laid out, with walking paths, plenty of outdoor areas to hang out & star gaze. The views here were incredible from sunrise to sunset the views were breathtaking. I even enjoyed the private view from the outdoor shower! Jamie was extremely communicative & detailed with instructions which made it easy to navigate. We would absolutely stay here again!

Was wonderful staying at Madeleine’s wonderful home!! It is extremely spacious and charming! It is so private, beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed every minute of it! Would love to stay again! :)

Super peaceful and quiet spot, the container was in the middle of nowhere, so it was very secluded. Roof deck was amazing for stargazing, and the bed was super comfortable. Great place to unplug and get away.

This eclectic place was exactly as described. Random deco that fits the location “almost in the middle of nowhere “! But well appointed for guests! Comfortable beds. Stocked kitchen , including bottled water, coffee and more. The bathroom had plenty of towels and toiletries! Little things also, like plug adapters for devices, extra outlets, lighting and books aplenty about the region. Super helpful. The directions and photos to the home provided were helpful- the GPS had no idea!! Marathon is pretty tiny and John’s tips for food were great. The direct path to Big Bend and Panther Village visitor Center made our morning starts very smooth. Couple other pluses: the back porch breeze, stars and the lightning show…. Impressive! Memorable stay!

We were so happy with this place. Gladys (Wally) really thought of everything. Her amenity description listed more than just the basics, but we didn't need to use ANY of the cooking supplies we had brought because they were all provided. I mean....every last detail was covered. The WiFi was unexpectedly great. We did not have a single issue, but if we had, Rick and Wally live close by. The indoor space was cute and comfortable and the outdoor space was set up for anything you'd like to do. We grilled steaks, we stargazed, we watched sunrises and sunsets while drinking coffee and wine. We even ate dinner out on the porch because breeze created a comfortable climate. It was a short drive into Terlingua and an easy drive into Big Bend National Park. We hope to come back to this area again, and we will most definitely stay here again. 10/10 Highly recommend!

My wife and I absolutely loved this place. The host was very responsive and helped us with a late checkin. We couldn’t be happier and will definitely be returning.

We cannot say enough great things about Theresa's home! From the moment we arrived we felt right at home...it was like being at your own home. The furnishings were very comfortable and there was more than enough space for our family of 6. The home was beautifully decorated with wonderful accents from the area. Theresa and Kathleen were super responsive and helpful. We were totally taken back by how well stocked the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room were. The backyard was amazing and the photos do not do it justice! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside by the fire and eating at the table in the yard. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to use the outdoor kitchen, however. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area and Big Bend National Park.

Very quiet and peaceful location. I would love to stay from March -May.

Matt responds quickly to messages. His property was perfect -- entirely remote, with complete darkness for stargazing, and a lot of land to explore and camp on. Definitely better than other sites in or around the parks.
