Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Brewster County

It’s our second time staying here. We loved coming back to the house after a day of hiking. Early mornings were spent in the courtyard watching the sunrise. All the stars were out at night! We saw the Milky Way! What a great stay. Thank you!

Casa grande This place is wonderful. It sits on top of a hill and gives you a great view of the area. It is bigger than what the pictures make it out to be. It is also extremely clean, cozy, and quiet. Kitchen was well stocked. It was a perfect base for exploring Big Bend. Don, our host, was kind, prompt and professional, and offered some great suggestions for the area. We hadn’t even left yet and we were already planning our next trip back. Book this place. You will be so happy that you did!

This Airbnb was dog friendly. I’ve stayed in other Airbnbs where theirs been doors scratch from dogs or a lingering smell of a dog’s presence. Not at Manuel’s place it was clean and right for my family and our family dog. Bedding was clean and towels were crisp white which I can appreciate. The views were awesome. Definitely a 10/10.

Casa Wilma might very well be my absolute favorite AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in. Hell, it might be my favorite place on earth. I’ve spent a lot of time traveling in and around west Texas and Wilma’s place makes hanging out in the desert comfortable, stylish, and so relaxing. The fenced property was perfect for my two city dogs who don’t get to run around off-leash as often as they’d like. The garage doors in the living room and bedroom let them come and go as they pleased while we laid in the hammocks and read. The stock tank bathtub in the master bedroom was gorgeous and the ability to open the back door and feel like you’re outside among the cactus was so dreamy. Finally, waking up so close to the massive bedroom window made for a perfect way to watch the sunrise. I absolutely cannot wait to come back and spend some serious time here. Wilma and Tom, thanks so much for this treasure!

Amazing stay at this gem! So unique and special, everywhere you look there is something interesting. Truly feels like a whole other planet the landscape is incredible! Great location for exploring Big Bend and surroundings.

Great spot! Had everything we needed (washer dryer, garage access, pack and play, TV with apps, etc.) and the hosts were super responsive and accommodating. Would stay again!

The stay that we had here was absolutely amazing! We loved every second of it and it looks just like the pictures! The hosts are SO nice and we could not have imagined staying anywhere else !

The location and the host was perfect for us. With the location right in the middle of both parks of Big Bend. The best part was the ability to just get away from all the hustle and bustle of every day life.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come back! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the items provided were so thoughtful, such as earplugs and a sound machine, though we didn’t have complaints with noise whatsoever. We stayed on a live music night and loved being able to pop right over to the entertainment. The room was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and very inviting. Our 2 young daughters especially loved the outdoor courtyard space and though they ended up in the big comfy bed with us, there was ample room to make a floor pallet in front of the TV. We enjoyed great food from Ferguson’s and The Sighting BBQ and enjoyed swimming at the Desert Air Motel where our friends were guests. Great little getaway and looking forward to staying here again!

My family and I (wife and 3 teenagers) had a wonderful time at this place. We came to visit Big Bend. The place is very well kept and easy to locate. The home was small but our kids loved it as they were able to sleep in the loft area while m wife and I were in the bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed incl plenty of things like paper towel rolls, dishwashing detergent, towels, etc. We were able to stargaze, but we had a full moon so the view was not as perfect as could be. We would definitely stay here again. Starlight theater was a phenomenal dinner. Lost mines trail at Big Bend was very doable for us all.

Just got home and already missing this place. It was such a relaxing and cozy A Frame we came back to after a hot day of hiking. They had all essentials to include cooking, bathing, and more. We can’t wait to visit again!

Our stay was great, it’s exactly as described. All the amenities you need are available and then some. Our host was very responsive, accommodating, and descriptive. The container was much more spacious than expected; I would definitely stay here again and recommend Stardust to anyone interested in staying at Terlingua.

Verscholen in het landschap stond deze prachtige chalet voor ons klaar. Van alle gemakken voorzien maar alleen het uitzicht is de prijs al helemaal waard! Koken in de buitenkeuken en savonds sterren kijken. De bedden lagen heerlijk en bij het opstaan glom het prachtige uitzicht ons weer tegemoet. De douche, 200 meter verderop is primitief maar wat verwacht je van de desert. Het werkt en met zo’n uitzicht douche je niet vaak. De toilet is een veredelt gat in de grond zonder water. Water is een zeldzaamheid. Allemaal functioneel en men waardeert het thuis daarom weer extra. Kortom een echte aanrader, helemaal als de host de badkamers naast de kamers klaar heeft!

This spot couldn’t have been more perfect for my fiancé and I. It was close to all the terlingua spots, short drive to the park, and still felt very secluded. The house was so cute and everything was comfortable! The back patio was a great place to relax and watch the sunset after a long day of hiking. I highly recommend this for anyone coming through Terlingua!

Great little cabin to stay in. Enjoy staying there when I’m in town.

Thank you so much for such a memorable stay! The home was exactly as in the pictures and every convenience listed online was there as well. The host was very responsive and helpful.. they answered all of our questions and communicated fast with anything we inquired on. We rented an ATV they had on site while there and it was definitely a memorable experience. We would highly recommend that as well. It was an amazing place with great hosts!

Luckily this place was available last minute after another didn’t work out. Tyler was very responsive which I am extremely grateful for. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. I felt safe and cozy in the cabin. Great place to stay if you are visiting the area!

Wow! Penni’s place was in the most amazing location! Surrounded by natural beauty and a great base for Big Bend NP. The cabin was so well fitted out with excellent cooking facilities including loads of herbs and spices, cooking oil and coffee, as well as a large assortment of Pyrex cooking dishes, baking trays and kitchen gadgets such as pizza cutter, tongs and even a small stovetop kettle for tea drinkers like me. Super comfy bed, big shower with good hot water, air conditioners and a large washer and dryer. We ate all our meals on the porch watching the sunrise and sunset and all the birds that call Penni’s place home. And best of all a quiet and highly private spot with no other homes in sight!

We had an excellent week at Stardust Big Bend and would stay here again. The location was perfect for days in the park, and we spent every night enjoying the stars on the expansive porch. The amenities are abundant - we didn’t need to bring much beyond clothes and snacks. We especially appreciated the full kitchen, including the supply of coffee (including creamer and sugar) every morning. Our kids’ favorite part was the clubhouse, which was great for beating the heat! The air conditioner worked great keeping the rooms cool. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The owners really did think of everything here. I highly recommend.
