everything as expected: small and beautiful. were lucky to be alone (no guests in the associated houses) and thus complete outdoor area was only for us (otherwise you share the garden together with other guests and possibly their children) the bed super comfortable and enough storage space, small kitchen (found our way around quickly) and bathroom with shower, no sofa in front of the fireplace, but two comfortable armchairs.

What a view! This was such a peaceful home to stay in. It was perfect for our family. We cooked a few dinners at the house and had a few dinners. Our host recommended renting a car as local bus doesn’t always run when you need it. I would recommend renting a car for this location as uber isn’t always available and it’s a hike up the mountain with luggage. We would definitely stay here again.

For 6 of us, it is a great place to stay. You will not have an issue at all if you have your own transportation to go around, which is what we did during the 3 nights there. We cooked dinner for all three nights for 6 of us at the house and enjoyed the view. We have already missed this house now as we are in Interlaken for another 4 nights with a different style of Airbnb. After sharing our photos and experience of the house with my sisters, they are interested in booking the same house for their future trip to Europe.

Peter’s place was great. It is very spacious for groups of 3+ compared to other airbnbs in Switzerland and is located in the beautiful quiet town of Meiringen with lots to do nearby with also easy access to interlaken, brienz, and surrounding areas. We stayed in the attic apartment which has low ceilings but it is great if you are short but Peter has other apartments available in the same building if you’re on the taller side. Location was great- it a short walk to the train station and there are restaurants and grocery stores nearby as well. Peter allowed for early check in which was helpful and helped us drop our bags at the station during check out. Overall great experience thank you Peter!
