Eine wirklich wunderbare Unterkunft. Herrlich gelegen, top ausgestattet und ganz liebes Personal. Der Blick auf Kapstadt und den Tafelberg ist atemberaubend. Alles tipptopp. Einzig anzumerken ist, dass nur ein Zimmer mit AC ausgestattet ist. Das war aber aufgrund der kühlen Nächte eigentlich kein Problem.

Overall had a great stay for our wedding party. The unit is split into two, with one side being for guests and the caretaker on the other side - but the caretaker was very friendly and accommodating. The quiet hours are strictly 10pm, as the neighbours will complain, but noise can be moved inside with all the doors closed after that, but the hosts try to be as accommodating as possible. Overall, had everything it needed and was clean and accessible.

We had a wonderful stay at Lavender Cottage! The property had everything we needed. I would gladly have stayed on longer if time allowed! Tim was an excellent host, easy to get hold of and responded quickly to everything.

Ronell was helpful, communicative and went above and beyond. Her place was lovely and more spacious than it appeared on the photos and had everything we needed for our family stay!

Peaceful with awesome views. We had a busy weekend but relaxing on the Monday was great. Well laid out for communal entertaining as well as privacy if you want to sit and read on the veranda with a view of the dam and mountains.

The houses were great. Well stocked kitchens made cooking easy. The braai area was perfect for pulling together the residents of the four house units. There is also a table under a tree for you to spread out easily in. There isn't a pool which meant for some hot days in the sun but we were pointed to a nearby dam where we could swim. Quick walk down to the main road, which was great for small stores, bars and restaurants. Host was very communicative over the app and on mobile platform.

What a beautifully appointed cottage! Spacious, comfortable and clean. Nandi was the perfect host - she kindly brought us extra bath mats and an extra set of keys - nothing was too much for her. We loved the accommodation - from teens to grandparents. That stoep - idyllic - a perfect complement to beautiful Riebeek Kasteel.

We had the most beautiful few days staying here. We came to SA with 2 young children and spent a few nights here, we were sad to leave. It really is one of the most wonderful places we’ve stayed, a paradise in Franschhoek. The interiors are beautiful and you are totally spoilt with the pool, warm outdoor shower, the most incredible breakfast spread you could ask for, pizza oven, comfortable beds, cute animals to look at and maison restaurant next door. This is absolute luxury and we will make sure we make it back again. Thank you so much for making us totally welcome and comfortable, we were so well cared for.

The house was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. Adri was friendly and assisted when needed. The estate is beautiful, safe and has lots to do. The golf carts were a bonus. We really enjoyed going for drives in the afternoon.

Simply put this was sublime. Not only does the property reside in what has to be one of the most beautiful private estates, but the property is stunning and you’d think you were the first guests to stay there. The property has an astonishing view that I don’t think many Airbnbs could compete with. The place is deep cleaned nearly daily and we were made to feel at home and special. Small touches were noticeable such as toiletries and kitchen goods. You are moments from some of the most beautiful wineries in the world and stones through from Stellenbosch itself. The property is in a secure gated estate which gave us a real sense of safety, not that we consider the area worrying at all (as it isn’t) but we brought our infant daughter with us so all worries are heightened. No such worries necessary here. I would love to say horrible things about this place, if only to ensure it would be available next time we come. We even extended our stay as couldn’t bear to leave.

location is great, just off the main street on a quiet road. the interior space surpasses the photographs and would be very comfortable for 6. (we peaked at 4) Jo even added in additional servicing which we requested and when we said the dishwasher was not working properly, it was replaced the very next day. nothing was too much trouble for them and this is probably the best rental we have ever had.

I can’t recommend this incredible home enough! Everything was absolutely perfect for 5 Women—we NEVER felt crowded and the Estate Manager, Beauty, took great care of us as she helped with whatever we needed. You really wouldn’t even know she was on the property unless you had a request! Whenever we return to Cape Town, we will absolutely choose this home!

We were 5 ladies that stayed at Sandie and Martin's house for 1 night. Beautiful home! Amazing swimming pool and garden! We had such a lovely time. Thank you so much for everything!

Pictures cannot possibly do this place justice. Breathtaking farm and fantastic accommodation. The house was beautiful and very comfortable, top luxury and the gardens simply stunning. Vee is a wonderful warm and gracious host, a delight to meet her.

Cette villa est magnifique, décorée avec très bon goût. Ce n'est pas une villa Airbnb sans âme mais une villa avec beaucoup de charme où on sent que le propriétaire y séjourne car elle est vraiment full équipée et il y a plein de détails qui rendent le séjour très agréable. Chaque chambre est magnifique avec salle de bain. La piscine est super et le jardin très agréable. La présence de Keith est une grosse valeur ajoutée. Petit bémol (mais ils n'en peuvent rien): la présence de moustiques le soir. Il faut absolument fermer les porte et fenêtres de la chambre car sinon vous serez envahis de moustiques la nuit. Heureusement, la maison est équipée en anti-moustiques et Keith nous a installé des moustiquaires En résumé, nous avons un super séjour et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Second time staying here with a group of friends. It’s beautiful and very well appointed! Smoke space for everyone to feel like they had their own corner, but enough areas for intimate conversations and group gatherings.

What a fantastic home in the centre of Stellenbosch, every room so beautifully appointed and so many welcoming details from wine and orange juice to rusks and muesli. A total local gem that was very chic, we wished we had more time!

Absolutely amazing! Don't think - just book. Perfect for large families and company retreats where you want everyone to have their own private bedrooms and bathrooms without getting in each other's way. Extremely friendly and helpful host too! We will be back.

Eugene and Suzette couldn't have been better hosts; their greeting was warm with fresh bread and wine on arrival, any queries were immediately answered and they made us feel v welcome. The view is spectacular, I really can't say enough about how peaceful it is but still only 20mins to Tulbagh and wine farms. Home is sizable and ideal for a group, especially for cooking and just hanging out. Only tip is to ensure you're driving a bakkie and are prepped for the dirt road, but it's well worth it!

We love it here - we will be back again. Great service and a beautiful spot.

Such a beautiful place. An awesome setting. The property is very well maintained. All necessary equipment or requirements fully met. Had a close encounter with a snake, which is not unexpected in the mountains. Flies a little troublesome. Again, not unexpected. Lovely pool. Would love to return in winter. Big fireplace. Would be an excellent place to write a book.
