Welcome to Åkhult and our little house located on our farm, 18 meters from our dwelling house. When you look out of window or door you will see Lake Fiolen. This lake is a spring lake with very clear water. Here you can both swim and go fishing. Around the lake there is a small road of 8 kilometers. There are many who walk, run, or bike. If you’re looking for peace and quiet and disconnecting for a while, our little cottage is the place to be. Our little oasis is located in the middle of the forest, at the end of the road – here nobody will disturb you. The house itself originates back to the 17th century, had a major renovation in the 70’s, and recently had a total makeover of the upper floor. I’m the fourth generation that recently took over and use it as a summer house, and from 2024 on renting it out when we’re not here.

It was my first time trying Glamping, and in one word – it was wonderful! The place exceeded all my expectations. Jonas is an amazing host who clearly puts a lot of thought into making his guests feel welcome and comfortable. The setup had everything you could possibly need for a perfect Glamping experience — cozy, clean, and beautifully arranged. It truly felt like a blend of nature and comfort. I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Owe and Linn's house for 2 weeks, and enjoyed every day. The house is in a secluded location and is very quiet, sometimes you just didn't hear anything. Everything was available in the house that needed, except maybe a washing machine, but it also went without. The kitchen is spacious and quaint, there is even a wood-burning stove. In the evening you can make yourself comfortable in the living room with fireplace when it gets cooler. Nature is breathtaking there, you can walk in endless forests or be on one of the many lakes. The lake where the boat is located is fantastic, and you are always alone. It takes at least 20 minutes on foot if you walk quickly, back rather 25-30 (uphill). Our children loved the neighbors' horses. In the forest there were chanterelles, blueberries and cranberries. We can only recommend the house!

Amazing idyll! Fresh, modern and well taken care of. Amazing jetty with bench and sun loungers to enjoy in the evening sun. The tent is decorated tastefully and the surface is Well furnished with everything that might be needed from first aid and mosquito spray to tea lights and guest book. Lots of fun little things to do, such as solving riddles to get up a locked box with a surprise, fishing things and stone painting. The outhouse is the absolute freshest I've been to, smells of flowers and clean as a hotel. Soft bed and fresh linens! Despite the hassle of the first booking, the hosts accommodated our requests. Will definitely come back to this wonderful place. Thank you Cecilia and Joakim!

Fantastic and charming cottage with direct access to the lake and nature. We had a lovely long weekend, with fishing, boating, outdoor baths and cosiness in the cottage. Although the weather was not quite as good, you get everything you need - the view from the cottage is beautiful and the cottage is lovely and cozy decor. Beautiful place. We'd love to come again

We (family with two grown children) had a wonderful vacation in a very nice and renovated house that is tastefully and modernly furnished. It has a wonderfully large terrace that goes down to the lake. Swimming in the lake was also very possible in August (approx. 22°C water temperature) and a bathing ladder facilitates access. The surroundings are very natural and quiet and there are only a few houses on the lake. The free rowboat allows fishing, for example. We also liked that Per also thinks of small things: In addition to bed linen and towels (incl. bath towels), coffee filters, coffee, salt, olive oil, garbage bags, detergent and much more were also available - this is not a matter of course. Communication with Per was very friendly, he always responded quickly and helped when something was wrong or answered our questions quickly. We will be happy to come back again.
