The living and dining room have access to the spacious balcony, where you can relax and enjoy the peace and fresh air. Thanks to the central location in Braunfels, sights, restaurants and shopping facilities are within easy reach. The surrounding area also invites you to explore the sights and go on long bike rides. The Orthopaedic Clinic and the Braunfels Neurological Clinic are nearby and can be reached on foot in just 5 and 15 minutes respectively. The small art remise along the Weiltal and Weilstrasse in the Taunus is a small 55 square metre cottage on a former mill estate. Heated exclusively with wood, the shed invites you to linger in a cosy atmosphere or to explore the Weiltal or Lahntal by bike. On the property right next to the stream you can meet dogs, cats, chickens and even the occasional egg. Most recently, the remise was used as a studio, and now art objects by regional artists continue to enliven the space.

In the stables – side by side with chickens and horses

'IM PFERDESTALL' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the Mühlenanwesen. It used to be a stable. (Be sure to check out my other apartment, 'Scheunen-Loft', too.) The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people seeking a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat up with the stove. See below.
