Philip has been a great host, and we had an incredible stay. Not only was the house absolutely stunning, but the location couldn’t be better. Despite the weather still being chilly - the house felt warm and inviting, my favourite was enjoying the sea views from the comfort of the house while sipping my morning coffee. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making this place feel like a home. We’ve travelled with two young kids and everything we needed was already there. The welcome treats were a big bonus! We’ve enjoyed a bottle of Prosecco with our friends on arrival. I hope we can return soon.

It's a small but great property with everything you need. There's no shower but the bath is lovely! There are fantastic restaurants within walking distance and nice walks along the beach. The local bus service is great and the connections from Ventnor to the rest of the island are easily accessed and reasonably frequent. This is definitely a great option if you are looking to stay anywhere on the south coast of the IoW.

Another fantastic stay at The Salt Shack! We absolutely love it there, each visit has been consistently successful, the house has been beautiful and clean with great things for kids to do. We struggled to leave as my 3 year old announced she “wanted to live here forever” and wouldn’t get in the car! It really is a fabulous place to stay and has plenty to do in the local area, the beach is an easy walk and Chichester is a short drive away. Highly recommend The Salt Shack! We’ll definitely be back again! ☺️

This was our second stay. Everything was as nice as we remembered from our first visit. The flat is spacious and well-appointed, the location is private and quiet, and the hosts are friendly and responsive. What more could you ask for in an AirBnB?

We are home after a Mon- Fri half term break at Admiral’s Watch, and we have had a wonderful time. Before we arrived we had clear directions from Nicky along with a really helpful list of recommendations for places to go with the kids. Getting to the property was easy and it was great to have a dedicated parking spot. The area is peaceful and completely beautiful. The small precinct of shops/ restaurants within the terrace was useful and didn’t intrude on our stay at all. The property itself is beautiful and just like the photos- the sea is right in front of the apartment making the views amazing. Nicky has styled the property beautifully and there was plenty of space for us as a family of four plus our dog. Activity wise I would recommend a trip to nearby Hurst Castle, and a meal at the Cliff House restaurant which was a short stroll away. Totally recommended, we had a great stay. We had a fantastic time, and really liked the house. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. The house is in an amazing location, near the shops and beach, and is perfect for families. We felt very at home and would recommend it highly!

We were looking for somewhere in the New Forest area to celebrate our wedding anniversary with family. This house was perfect for us all, 8 adults and 5 grandchildren. The house is in a beautiful, quiet location which is exactly what we wanted. The house has everything you need and more, fully fitted kitchen with massive island and dinning table. All rooms were spotless as well as the many toilets and bathrooms. We stayed in the master bedroom which is very tastefully decorated. The swimming pool was a big bonus, perfect size and depth for our Grandchildren and very warm. It also had a padlocked gate to keep the little ones out when playing in the garden. Our host Katie was brilliant from start to finish keeping us updated on the stay and very responsive to messages. She provided a welcome food pack of sausages, bacon, bread and essentials which was really appreciated. Katie even took the time to let our grandchildren help her feed her horses. Can’t wait to return!

What a truly beautiful stay. The cottage was so clean , bright, everything you needed, plenty of places to go and things to do leaflets. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped . You are surrounded in nature and wildlife , its so peaceful and the Red Kite feeding was absolutely out of this world The garden and woodland is fantastic , there is so much to see as you walk around . There is a beautiful terrace to sit and look at the views and watch the birds . Outstanding. Marley and his Grandad Fred are wonderful and so very friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be going back and would highly recommend. Thank you for making our stay so amazing .

We stayed at Sam’s place to celebrate my husbands birthday. From the start Sam was responsive, friendly, answered questions and gave some fab advice. When I made a request she did everything she could to make it happen. The caravan itself is in a lovely peaceful part of the park with easy walking distance to the woods for the dog to have a run and also to the beach where we wandered to the pub and then back for an ice cream. Sam clearly explained how everything worked, where everything was & what she was doing to make things perfect for her guests. Her guide for things to do was really helpful so our days were filled and never dull. I would call this caravan a proper family home, it does everything it’s suppose to so you can just relax and enjoy your holiday. When I had some sad family news, Sam went out of her way to make sure we were ok and that we didn’t need to rush out the caravan on check out, so if you want a proper family home from home that does what it says - visit here! 🩷

We hired this for a few days with family to celebrate my nans 70th birthday. Absolutely beautiful house and gardens and the facilities are amazing. We live locally so knew about the area but loved having a swimming pool, tennis courts and snooker table for all of us to enjoy. The lounge was bigger than we thought and comfortably sat all of us. We also received a helpful guide a few days before our stay which gave us all the information we needed. Overall a really lovely stay, thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Stag cottage and fully enjoyed the huge garden during our stay. Communications with Cindy were excellent and she was really quick to respond and keen to ensure our stay was the best it could be. It was most definitely a lucky find and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. 😊🦌❤️

We loved the lodge and this was the 2nd time we had come back. The windows were filthy, and there was cobwebs inside and out and just wasn’t very clean. We came back as the first time we thought it was beautiful. The skirting boards and bathrooms were grubby. Apart from it being dirty, for the amount charged, would have thought it would have been as nice as the first time we came.

Fantastic modern lodge, very well equipped with everything you would likely need, spacious and beautifully decorated throughout. Peaceful site, dog friendly (dogs to be kept on leads which is a huge plus) and we would 100% recommend a stay here. We will be back!

Charlotte and Tony were so friendly and helpful and the Cabin was perfect for our needs. It was lovely and quiet but within easy walking distance of Seaview village. The Cabin was very well equipped and we really appreciated all the extra touches and treats ! Our two little dogs also had a great time ! Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We have stayed on the island many times but this was our first time staying in Ryde and in this apartment. The apartment was fantastic and had everything we wanted. The shower is fantastic - powerful and really hot. The beds are really comfy too. The apartment is beautifully furnished. The extra touches such as the welcome basket and kids duvet cover were really appreciated. Also very handy to have beach towels provided as well as various beach toys and accessories for use. The apartment is in a great location and we all enjoyed having the beach at the end of the road! It is ideally located for exploring the island by car or by public transport, with the bus and train station a 10 minute walk away. There are lovely views out of the big lounge windows and we enjoyed watching the ships passing. We had no trouble with parking and were able to find a spot on the road outside the apartment every day. Communication from Clare was great. We definitely hope to return.

We have just come home from our second stay at Wishing Well. As before, it’s spotlessly clean. An open airy lounge, diner and kitchen greet you on the first floor with lovely countryside views and on the ground floor you will find two beautiful en-suite bedrooms with very comfy beds. Brilliantly located with Appley beach just a five minute drive away. Isle of Wight distillery is just next door offering the delicious mermaid gin and a small but really good menu. Nicola and Penny are wonderful hosts and very proactive when answering messages nothing is too much trouble. We love returning here and are already booked in again for two weeks later in the year.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was lovely and remote, it was totally private but wasn’t too far away from places to go. The gardens were immaculate and the entire place was well maintained. The place had everything you needed and some lovely walks nearby. Would definitely go back again!

Echoing other reviews, this is an absolutely stunning place. I totally fell in love with it - so unique, full of character, beautifully done up, and with everything needed for a stay. Such fun being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the sea. Thanks for a truly fab stay.

Had a fantastic few days in this really lovely house and location. The house was beautifully set out, very comfortable and had everything that a family needs on holiday. Brilliant location in St Helen's, near the Duver and local amenities too. Easy parking as well. Justine was super helpful and welcoming. We loved our stay and hope to book again. Our family really needed a break and we have come home feeling like we have had a longer holiday than we actually did. Thank you very much indeed!

Perfect little chalet for daily beach walks with the doggie and easy access to our family who all live on the island. Nice touches like biccies/ tea and coffee which were nice on arrival. Rosie was perfect host, especially as it was our second attempt to stay after our first one was upset because of illness in the family. Would definitely stay again.
