Hattstugan in Braås

Welcome to my little fairytale castle built in the late 18th century. Near Braås and Lake Örken, in a nature reserve that was previously an English park. Surrounded by former ponds belonging to an ironworks, now a wetland with abundant birdlife. There are more historic buildings nearby, the hermit's hut and the Drakhuset. 1.5 km to the village, shop and pizzeria. 700 m to a lake with swimming. Fully equipped kitchen. Large wooden deck. Welcome to Torestorps Drängstuga - an ancient house in the heart of Småland! Here, real fairy tales, heroes, love, hard work and celebration live in the walls. The house is about 100 m2 in two levels and is located a stone's throw from a larger farm building in the middle of the countryside in the Småland forests. You can get to Kalmar and Öland in 30-60 minutes and to Nybro to shop in ten. There are duvets, a wood-burning stove, a sauna in the woods and the cat Doris will be happy to stay with you if you want company.
