Guesthouse "De Cranvogel" The cozy log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden wall, you can look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and the beautiful garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or other crops. The log cabin has a bedroom, a bathroom and a living room, and can be heated with a wood-burning stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.

On the edge of the forest, just outside Assen, you will stay in a fully self-contained property with its own entrance and garden. From the living room, you look out over the countryside and hear mostly birds and the wind. Here, you can combine the tranquillity of nature with the comfort of a modern, cosily furnished cottage.

Lovely, bright space with French doors facing south. Natural materials, such as clay and wood, have been used. Furthermore, there is a wood stove to heat the cottage and there is a boiler for the hot water. Everything is provided, from bedding to tea towel, from frying pan to hand blender. You can take beautiful walks from the cottage, e.g. the eight of Amen or to the Balloërveld near Rolde.
