The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There's a wood stove.

At the edge of the Appelschaster forest you will find this modern nice holiday home. Completed October 2020 with all facilities. The accommodation is equipped with spacious kitchen with dishwasher, coffee maker and combi microwave. The stay has underfloor heating, air conditioning, bar with tap and box-spring beds. Excellent audio and TV is available with Netflix. Next to it is a 6-person jacuzzi that can be used all year round. Restaurants, mini golf, amusement park Duinenzathe amusement park.

Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment(45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffeemaker and kettle. Via the landing you enter your own bathroom with washbasins, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons there is a second living/sleeping space available in the apartment (25 m2 extra) Pets allowed only after consultation.

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel" The atmospheric log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden wall, look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and in the beautifully maintained garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or any other crop. The cabin contains a bedroom, bath and living room and the whole can be heated with a wood stove. You can prepare yourself your own coffee or tea in the cabin.

This comfortable holiday home is located directly on the Drents-Friese Wold. The house is in a park with no facilities/gate or rules. The houses in the park are both permanently inhabited and rented out for vacation. You can walk, cycle and mountain bike to your heart's content in the area. Cities such as Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easy to reach. The house is fully and stylishly furnished and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.

Our lovely house is an old renovated farm, with all the comfort of today. The holidayhome de Drentse Hooglander has its own entrance, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with tv( netflix), a private garden and terrace. You'll find us in Eemster, just 3km from Dwingeloo, at a quiet road nearby 3 large naturereserves. Biketours and hikes starts from the house. Aldo and i hope to see and welcome you!

Parking in front of the door; private garden with cozy seats. Through the entrance you enter the fully equipped kitchen-living room. The bedroom has a luxury Karlsson box spring with 2 mattresses. From your bed you can look out the garden or into the forest.
