Welcome to our El Cense du Bergie cottage. You will stay in a rural gîte, completely renovated and located in the heart of the countryside, on the corner of a 400 ha wood, in a working farm. This gîte for 4 people, with 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed; gîte decorated with 60 m2 of frescoes; all comforts, 80 m2 living space with a terrace of 20 m2, all on the ground floor (living room, kitchen, Italian shower and 1 bedroom accessible to PRM). Beautiful industrial loft totaly restaured. Located in our house, the loft is completely private, you share the entrance hall and the backyard with us. The loft features 1 kitchen 1 huge bedroom with a 1m80 width bed and a mezzanine with the sitting-room view. There is a also a cosy reading corner and a beautiful brand new bathroom with an italian shower. 65 square meters in total with air conditioning. Gîte Le Sambre

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. The history of our houseboat, or modern comfort meets the soothing calm of the water, for a total escape. Our barge has not sailed for years but in 2023 it was refurbished. The boat dates from 1947, it supplied the barges with drinking water on the Meuse, repatriated about 35 years ago to the Thuin shipyard which no longer exists. It served as a restaurant until 2022 and then was transformed into a gîte.
