Lovely accommodation in the quiet hinterland of la Rochelle. A nice garden is available where it is wonderful to have breakfast, relax or read a book. Glad there is a good bakery , a butcher and a pharmacy in the village. We enjoyed it. La Rochelle is reachable by car in 15 minutes. Ile de Ré is a must. Lovely to enjoy the sea and the nice villages there. We went there with a classic bike from la Rochelle. 40 km back and forth ( including a route on the island) was too heavy. Take an electric bike or go to the island by car and rent a bike there.
