Breakfast with Dinky Donkeys.

LucyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Went here with my 9-year old son and we had the best time. Carl and Jane were just lovely and couldn’t have done more for us and it was really special for us to be so close to the beautiful Ava & Molly. Can’t recommend this enough for anyone with an interest in donkeys or who is just looking for something a bit special to do.

Spring Cottage

ColinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculately and thoughtfully presented and was spotless. It was a perfect location for our needs and our elderly dog especially appreciated the garden which was easy to access. We also appreciated the comprehensive information on local areas etc to visit. All in all, a great 3 day break. Thank you.

Perfect home for families or contractors

KelseyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great overnight stay after a family function. House was exactly as described and Jessica is a very communicative host. We had a slight hiccup finding the house initially (the postcode & Google location takes you a little too far down the road) but a smooth self check in system once the correct house was found 😊 Thank you Jessica!

Hidden Gem of Newark - Sleeps 6

JamesRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A very good location if you’re visiting Ollerton and that general area of Nottinghamshire. The apartment is located very close to shops and food outlets. The Tesco superstore is literally 200m away and is open from 6.00am to 12.00 midnight. The two bedrooms are a decent size, plus a large common area with a sitting room one end and the kitchen the other. The TV has all the usual channels, an electric shower in the bathroom, etc. The apartment is on the 1st floor, two short stair flights. No issue for most people but there isn’t a lift.

2 Bedroom Bungalow with Conservatory & Garden

StephenRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The home is beautifully presented and spotless. We were grateful for all the clear communication and instructions for the property. The food items left for us were a surprise, and made for a warm welcome, thank you. Your air BnB is a real credit to you both. We highly recommend staying here. Warm regards from Steve, Wendy, Peter and Dallas. Visiting from Australia and New Zealand ⭐️🙂

Barnaby’s Cottage

JennyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Fabulous property, fantastically quirky and really lovely hosts. Very cosy feel, plenty of hot water, heating available when you need it, lovely enclosed back garden to sit out or for last tiddles at night for your furry friends. Good internet if you need it, felt very safe, tucked away with parking for 2 large vehicles. Our dog felt very welcome and the dogs on site are super friendly. Thoughtful extras such as bread, milk, breakfast pastries, butter. Towels and bed linen were changed over for us mid stay which was really nice. Would highly recommend, we did consuder staying permanently!

18th century lock keepers cottage

PaulRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a great find Lock Keeper’s Cottage was for a lovely weekend away. If you’re looking for a quiet get-away in a traditional cottage right on the canal then this is for you. Your only neighbours are moored up barges/narrowboats - some permanent and others just passing through. Chat with the local owners or those navigating the canal lock on your doorstep and you’ll find how friendly they all are. At the back of the property there’s a large decking and the sizeable garden looks across open fields and is surrounded by a run off stream from the canal - you’ll have a to an eye of children if you’re taking them but this stream is only a few inches deep for the most part. Walking is easy - there’s woodland opposite (part of the Babworth Estate) with paths and, of course, the canal path itself. The cottage itself is really cosy with the 2 lounges and a well equipped kitchen. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep and may be a challenge for the less agile though.
