Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

House on the Farm

Here you can experience the silence and take a break from life. Close to nature and swimming. In the house, there is an electric sauna and access to a spa bath outside. At our own lake, you can enjoy a wood-fired sauna and swimming in the lake, why not a trip on the lake with the raft in silence. Access to 2 bicycles is available, for a ride in the surroundings. No smoking indoors in the entire property, smoking outdoors allowed. In winter, we charge a fee of SEK 200 for ice hole making if guests wish to swim in the winter

Lovely house in the countryside

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all amenities from our time but with saved details from before. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's sights are close to the distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are fur allergic.

Stuga i Tiveden Sannerud

Warm welcome to our little cozy house in Tiveden located in the village of Sannerud. The cottage has two rooms and a kitchen with a bathroom. Here you have a perfect location in the village where you can eat and drink well at Lanthandel and restaurant Luripompa, which is a 10-minute walk from our house. You also have Tiveden National Park 15 minutes' drive away by car. Adjacent to the house, there are several of Tiveden's cycling and hiking trails. Swimming is a 15-minute walk away.

Cozy cottage near National Park

Ta en paus och varva ner i denna fridfulla oas. Fin sjöutsikt från stugan och ca 300 m till bad och grillplats vid sjön. Cosy cabin only 10 minutes by car from the famous Tivedens National Park. Amazing view to lake Unden, the largest fresh water lake in Tived. Fantastic to swim in when it's warm in the summer. Amazing sunsets and a very peaceful atmosphere. Romantic. The area straight down from the cabin by the water doesn't belong to the property but welcomes respectful visitors.

The gem of Norra Vätättern

On a ridge overlooking northern Lake Vättern's beautiful archipelago lies our modern, newly built holiday home with large social areas and a fantastic ceiling height with nice light inputs. Here a slightly larger group/family can find recovery with proximity to nature yet it is only 10 minutes by car to the beautiful small city of Askersund. Tivedens National Park is close as well as the long sandy beach Harjebaden. The house was completed in autumn 2018 and has all amenities.

Cozy decorated mill from the early 1800s

Fantastic mill with history from the 16th century. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher induction hob, oven and microwave, fridge/freezer. In the small TV room there is a smart TV. Upstairs it was a carpentry workshop which is now a modern TV room with wifi, amplifier,Chromecast, speaker system and projector. The shower is located in the basement. The balcony facing the sheep garden has garden furniture and spa baths. Woodstove in the kitchen.Sauna is available.

Husby 210, Glanshammar, 12 km from Örebro

Fyra bäddar med möjlighet till fler i 90 kvm stor, möblerad stuga i äldre interiör. 12 km till Örebro, 3 km till Glanshammar med den service man behöver, 2 km till Hjälmaren och nära till naturen. I närheten finns flera naturreservat, sex badplatser, lokalt hantverk och flera sommarcaféer. Här hemma på gården delar gästen exteriöra utrymmen med värdfamiljens barn och djur. Här finns hästar, hund och katt. Lägg märke till att det är 200 meter till motorvägen.

On one of the highest points in old Askersund is Villa Klippan and separately on the property you will find this exclusively decorated guest room. Adjustable beds, kitchen with induction stove, microwave and refrigerator. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. Private breakfast terrace. Close to the city center, swimming and walking paths. Bed linens and towels are in the room when you arrive and final cleaning can be added by agreement for SEK 150

At Ängalyckan, you live in your own small cabin in the middle of the wonderful area of Tiveden, close to both Tiveden National Park, beautiful lakes, hiking trails, bike routes and more. The accommodation has two beds and a sofa bed for two. It also features a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, etc. In a separate building there is a shower and toilet which are sometimes shared with others.

Unwind in this unique and tranquil space. The cottage is located on the edge of the forest. Located between two lakes, Lake Vänern and Skagern. Close to golf course. 40 minutes from Tivedens National Park. 15 minutes to Sjötorp with Göta Canal. 10 minutes to grocery store. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer in a building next door. There's also a shower and toilet shared with another person.

Västanvik, close to Östgötaleden's hike, Vättern's coves and swimming, walks, a quiet moment and possible day trips to Motala, Askersund, Medevi, Vadstena, and more! Motala with Varamonbaden only about 20 min by car is the largest lake bath in the Nordic countries and offers a wonderful beach. Also suitable for golf weekends with proximity to, for example, Motala GK, Vadstena GK and Askersunds GK.
